I have my guns as specified items on my household policy with the NFU. I've had need to make claims on the policy and NFU have been most helpful and reimbursed me without quibble.

There is a disabled shooters group who could very likely help you. Quite a few of their members have made alterations to their stock or forends. They have a website, just Google their name.

Not all 68x series have an adjustable/removable trigger. For instance my 1989 687 has a fixed trigger blade.

The blade is canted to the left so my finger fits comfortably on it. I find on a RH trigger blade a sharp edge on the left hand side such as fitted to my 687. With one of these I have used a fine file to reprofile the edge to lose the sharpness, making it basically ambidextrous.

Yep, I'm a lefty and swapped the RH trigger blade to a LH one.
