Anyone else has the email from GMK ref something new from Beretta?

It came from GMK marketing so don’t think it’s a spam…..

Roll out tech based on the SL2. DT11 becoming DT12 etc?

Based in that they they have finally accepted that SL2 and 3 are based on the Boss/ Perazzi type lock up is a great platform. Maybe they might go further and accept that J M Browning actually got it right and launch a SO/ DT25

Obviously this is said in jest but where else do you go with a scatter gun?

add even more weight and modified bore and claim reduced recoil?
Electronic lock?
AI controlled shot placement?

At least it go us thinking what it could be.
Job done ✔️

Electronic, fly by wire trigger.
Which as soon as its taken out in British weather will fail spectacularly.

On another Beretta group there is a claim it’s a revised A400. Lighter, slimmer, better etc. The person said that came from a Beretta rep. So it seems the rumour mill is in action.

Had both GMK reps last week, they didn't mention a new gun at all.

Be a bit weird to produce a lighter a400 when the lite and ultralite already exist.

They've been running down stocks of the a300, maybe it's a replacement for that, an inertia auto might make sense.

694 blacks are definitely coming.

This says new platform, perhaps an SV10 replacement?
688 black adjustable laminate . Same dimensions as a 694 but with a heavier receiver. Pics on Guntrader as some dealers are listing them before the official release later today around £3000.

Reading the specs it uses Steelium barrels and not the plus like the 694. Suggesting it’s going to be a model beneath the 694?

About 40 years ago , the go to competition gun ( for those who couldn’t afford a SO or ASE ) was a Beretta 682 , no doubt popularised by a certain Mr Digweed who won everything with one . It was wider and heavier in the action than other 680 series guns and breathed on by the competition department at Beretta . I sold mine to a friend who still shoots it , it was sheer class . Then the 682 Gold came along with a slimmer , lighter action so slim was good … Now it seems heavier and wider is back in vogue , still you’ve got to hand it to the marketing team , the descriptions of the technology must be worth 10 birds alone ;)
