Beretta Optima HP Black Edition DLC Extended Chokes

Thoughts on these please. I’ve always used Teague. Just wondering if these work well. Thanks.

Remember to put your glasses on

I now use clear safety glasses as used on building sites. Much cheaper, just as good and the clear lenses and allow me to see better. Always used purple before.

    Who Doesn't like A Semi....?

I go to Eriswell a lot. Rarely see semi autos there. Apart from mine.

    Who Doesn't like A Semi....?

Correct I did want thoughts and not to argue. I think I have my answer overall now anyway thank you. To me it seems the way people in different countries view different guns is very evident. I’ll only add that I believe a man by the name of Joseph Fanizzi won a world championship in his class...

    Who Doesn't like A Semi....?

Still wondering if there is any credence to the statement ref professional shooters. Do they really prefer a semi given the choice?

    Who Doesn't like A Semi....?

To counter. I find a semi slick to load. Way to use. Lighter and more manageable etc. Never had a hurt thumb or anything like that. Spent cartridges take moments to collect with a magnetic stick. Seen many people happen to eject their OU all over the place just as much. I’d argue a semi...

    Who Doesn't like A Semi....?

Bit strong ref the A400. Maybe a touch of elitism going on because you have a K80?

    Browning Maxus 2

I've owned 3 in the past. Used all 3 on the clay ranges with zero issues. Superb guns. Easy to fit and use. Easy to operate and clean. Never had a problem with any of them. Good variety of style and colours etc. Buy with 100% confidence. If they have caught your eye above something else...

    Who Doesn't like A Semi....?

Good points. Only takes someone with actual practical experience to validate the safety argument.

    Who Doesn't like A Semi....?

From what I’ve seen. Semis are just as safe, just as accurate, just as good as an OU. Ref safety, I don’t buy into the view they are not as safe. I fire. Breech open. Put flag in. Done. I’ve seen many OU shooters close their guns up before getting into the stand, turn around with it unbroken...

    Who Doesn't like A Semi....?

The debate will rage on for years. Just in the back of my mind what the original comment was from the other forum. Food for thought that's all.

    Who Doesn't like A Semi....?

On a another forum, USA, one of the posters made an interesting claim. He said, 'an instructor once told me that professional shooters on the whole, would prefer to shoot a semi automatic'. Endorsements etc promoting the OU. Interesting comment. Now I'm bias towards an auto, so just saying...

    Beretta A400 Extreme Plus

Yes hadn’t considered the huge weight shift with the extension and extra cartridges. There goes my planning for the Apocalypse then…

A separate ammo safe I didn’t know about ref slugs so thank you for that one. FAC. Already feels like swimming through glue to get it. 😀

    Beretta A400 Extreme Plus

Yes thank you, know all about the processes etc. like I said just pondering.

    Beretta A400 Extreme Plus

Thank you. It’s all just a thought process currently. Aware weight and barrel lengths are different etc. just weighing it all up.

    Beretta A400 Extreme Plus

Does the magazine have a crimp in the UK, or is the capacity limited by that stick thing? It can have an extension tube added to make it 8+1 I believe, which could mean that if I also went for my FAC, it ‘might’ be usable for practical shotgun. Maybe. Casual fun not true competitive. It is...

    Beretta 694 choosing nice wood

I’ve used it for years with zero issues on many guns. Like anything, you wipe and clean not smother, so I’d imagine it’d take quiet a lot to become a cruddy paste. If you look into everything hard enough you’ll find plenty to make you doubt I’m sure.
