Thanks very much! Will do a bit more research on gun position, to be honest after the first 50 I was fine. But towards end of second 50 I started to feel it.  Any thoughts on active ear protection?

So just done your test, yes, my position does not change. As I sit here on the latop, I pointed at the door handle, shut left eye and the position does not change. If I shut my right eye, the position does change. So that's settled that! Thanks will always shoot both eyes open now! Now it's...

Hi all, So I've posted up before about gun storage, today I went down Chalky Hill shooting to get some practice in. I met with Duncan who let me hire a gun, I did 2x50 bird shoots and loved every shot! Some of the stands I nailed them getting 4/4 or 6/6 others, could not hit a barn door...

Just to add, my garage is attached to the house. Quick Google suggests that does help.  Does that garage door need to be special? More beefy locks? It's a standard garage door currently. 

Ah, it needs to be the house itself? That's a defo a non starter. For one the house is 2012 build, every wall is hollow thanks to insulation. (so no solid walls anywhere, would have to go through plaster board and insulation) Also sod all space in the house, I was expecting a garage to be ok.
