With all due respect the great British weather can change by the hour. It's a bit of pot luck, just the same as qualifying by category, depends who turns up on your day.

So after 4 days of 120 bird qualifiers, a 75 bird finals day, and a 25 bird super final, the person with the lowest score across all 3 is the British ESP champion. What a farcical format it is for the British shooting flagship event. But that's the rules so fair play to the winner. 😮

Exactly, you have the option to book into a squad. Assuming all the squads a full, and a lot of people turn up for the 11.30 kick off. The last squad of 6 moves off, the next group might only be a couple of shooters, the next may be 3, these groups will be constantly queueing behind the last...

This will be OK until a load of shooters all turn up at 11.30 to shoot, and there is a massive queue at stand 1.

As their registered shoots, sportrap and sporting, are predominately mid-week and summer months, I would imagine it will be squads. As you say it will be interesting to see what their plans are.

I think you will find you now have to shoot 600 targets to drop a class. Missed dropping to C class sportrap for the worlds as I had only shot 500.☹️

The Events: The World English Sporting A 200-target shoot shot over two days (either 6-7 July, 8-9 July, 10-11 July). There will be a 25-target Super Final, where the top six shooters (shoot-offs in case of ties) will compete for the title.
