    Beretta 688

The gun is advertised for young shooters and beginners who want a dedicated clay gun at a reasonable price point. The design is more "modern". The grooves on the receiver is not too elegant for me, but the laminated stock looks ok for me. Maybe it works out to that dedicated group of customers...

    New Beretta Shotgun Platform 14/11/2024

So why did you sell it, then? A shotgun is not rocket science but they have to bring something new form time to time. But yes: Tapered barrels +2 birds, titanium chokes +2 birds, fake damascus steel +2 birds, carbon fiber rib + 2 birds...

    Beretta 694. How ... , please?

Usually a hair dryer will help to soften glue and tape. But where and why is this put on the barrels?

Muller Chokes - are they as good as they claim to be?

You never know which supplier builds choke tubes for which Company. So there might be a good Chance that you replace a Briley with a Briley or a Gemini with a Gemini. But all in all it is not rocket science.

    New gloves time!

I got these: https://estore.beretta.com/en-gb/product/watershield-gloves-GL351T0657 Keeps your hands warm and dry, but perhaps not the same feeling as a thin leather glove.

And what's the point out of that video? he could have used a Quartier or half choke instead.

    Rifled Chokes

Martinj is right. Beretta calls this "paradox choke". Described as to open up the pattern at very short distances. So nothing in common with a rifled Barrel. https://estore.beretta.com/en-gb/product/choke-tube-optimachoke-hp-12ga---rifled-paradox-C6D931

    New Browning release - 825

Yes, it could. But it could also distract you from the important things. A friend of mine, olympic skeet shooter, always fiddles around with different brands and design of chokes, had at least 4 different stocks tested out, shoots 25, 24, 24 then messing around with adjustments... He shoots at...

    New Browning release - 825

What completely new should be done to a shotgun? Just minor improvements. In the end we as hobby shooters all could live with B25s, 682s and so on. Beretta advertised it´s latest Topmodel, the SL2, month ago and after the Olympics in Paris we got the DT11 advertised as the most succesful gun in...

Thin young lad needs a no kick gun!

He has the stock sitting on his shoulder and not in the shoulder pocket as mentionend before. Perhaps he should move his body and the shoulder more inwards. But hard to say without seeing him shooting.

Thin young lad needs a no kick gun!

Poor gun fit. Even petite Ladys could shoot without bruising if the gun fits properly. 21g will not solve the problem

Remember to put your glasses on

Even £1000 would be worth it. If the specs are damaged that much imagine what could have happened without them.

How much difference do Cartridges make?

I don´t recognize much difference between the major brands. Some may be a bit harder to shoot than the others, but that´s it. I don´t know how many brands use the same components. Some brands show "made in Spain", "made in Italy", "made in EU" from Lot to Lot.
