    Who Doesn't like A Semi....?

Overall i tend to shoot my O/U much more and better than my auto. Flying shells, fiddling around with unloading makes it more impractical for me. Even when on hunting I don´t get much of a bonus out of an auto. In germany we are allowed to three rounds capacity when hunting, one in the chamber...

    Beretta 694 choosing nice wood

Some guns I see are so rusty and dirty that they would benefit using anything from lard to fuel oil.

    Beretta 694 choosing nice wood

Well, the classic ballistol is a very old product and could really be used for a lot of purposes, unless there might be "specialists" that might work better on a certain purpose. But I´ve seen a lot of old guns which had not seen anything than Ballistol and they are fine. The main ingredient of...

    Beretta 694 choosing nice wood

The Company Ballistol has several products to offer, the classic Ballistol oil is just one of them. Balsin is a classic wood oil, available in 3 colours. I use Ballistol Gun Cer on my guns to lubricate them, works very well.

    Perazzi multi choke barrels

I would ask Perazzi. Maybe you could get several barrels with different weights.

Would you try shooting from your other shoulder?

Perhaps he has a big head and narrow shoulders, then? :)

    Length Matters it seems….

You should also check your distance between grip, stock end and trigger. Seems to be different between your Autos and the 694.

Would you try shooting from your other shoulder?

What is on and off when you are right or lefthanded?

    Random question re.bib numbers.

You can use washers inside and small, strong magnets outside. Or buy these: https://www.castellani.eu/en/prod/ferma-dorsale-magnetico/

    Bennelli 828'S'

I shot both the Sport and the Standard and didn't feel comfortable. A gunsmith told me that the internals are not made that well. So they tried to make something different and overengineered a bit. I would buy a Benelli Auto any day but no O/U.

    24gram shells

Maybe you hit even more as you don't think about the recoil and feel comfortable.

    Recoil and chokes?

No. The felt recoil depends of⁷ your cartridge, your gun fit and the weight of the gun.

    Beretta 694 sporting choke replacements

    Do you notice any difference?

    only shoot 1/2 & 3/4

The one or two missed targets because of a too open choke might play a little roll if you are at 95/100 on a course with lots of far birds. Otherwise than that you just missed because of other reasons.

    Misfire

How did that happen? Went off after opening the gun?

    Misfire

But it is the only way to safely handle a shotgun cartridge with a failed primer. The Powder itself is not dangerous when poured over the grass. Just a bit of nitrogen fertilizer. What should the club do with it? But of course don´t do it by yourself, if you would cut your fingers of :-)

    Misfire

Leave it in the barrels for a few seconds. Take it out afterwards. Not likeley that they go off at a later point in time. I cut them in half with my pocket knife and pour out the powder on the grass. The rest goes into the bin.

    Beretta 694 choosing nice wood

I once purchased a stock for my 692 directly from the Beretta online shop and could choose from 3 different types of wood. They wrote me an email and i told them my preferences. So i think i should be possible to choose from different guns at least from the importer.
