Where do YOU stick yer finger ?

But these pictures show a shooter right before the shot. But you won´t leave your finger on the trigger when lodaing/ closing or open the gun. That´s the point. Gun down is mandatory in some disciplines, so the finger is on the trigger.

Where do YOU stick yer finger ?

There are two rules in shooting sports: Safe direction and trigger safety. If following just one of these two rules, the worst case might be prevented. I got it two times that someone shot in the ground nearby me, both wanted to open their guns and left the finger on the trigger. Fired one...

Cartridge price increases now getting silly

Yes. Same here in Germany. From 200/220€/1000 to 280-300€/1000 for a standard cartridge within one year. Here the Ukraine-war is blamed for almost everything...

Fossari - a new brand from Italy

We will see. FAIR produces solid quality and has experience in gun making. So I think that there will be no big issues. RUAG Ammotec is the Importer of FAIR and the "Fossari" brand here. If and when they will come to the UK...?

    Rizzini Durability

Don´t agree with that. The basic locking mechanism is like the SO- Series. But the DT11 has modern barrel and choke design and on of the best and fastest triggers around. Perhaps there is a reaseon why so many athletes choose a DT11 for their sport. A friend of mine, an olympic skeet shooter...

Fossari - a new brand from Italy

Well, it is a new brand from F.A.I.R (Fratelli Rizzini, not Rizzini who are making the BR-Models) and they show up with new sporting guns more sophisticated than the existing F.A.I.R.-Models. https://www.fossari.it/en/technology/...

    why ?

A Skeet High Rib is not very common with any brand, I think.

    why ?

It´s just marketing. GC pushes hard and gets a lot of attention. In Germany, France, Switzerland and of course Italy Zoli is fairly common. Miroku guns are hardly used here in Germany, just the other way round. The Zoli guns are very well made. I would prefer a Z- Gun or a Kronos over a GC any...

Cartridge price increases now getting silly

B&P is high quality but also high price. We have just on retailer here in germany which is also the importer. I think B&P delivers it´s powders also to Clever Mirage.

    Barrel Length- How long??

She don´t, because her barrels are as long as she is tall, someone said :-)

    Barrel Length- How long??

This is a skeet gun with lightweight barrels, no midrib between the barrels and so on. And i think a barrel could be also too short. You will get a lot of muzzle flip which brings you away from your target.

    Choke Choice

For sporting and steel shot 1/4- 1/4 is very common. So with lead 1/2-1/2 is fine in my opinion. Dedicated trap guns often use fixed chokes 3/4 and full, but that just makes sense with olympic trap in my opinion.

    Which lenses in these conditions

Yellow, orange and red are inreasing the contrast. Your background has already a lot of contrast an light, so any of those colours maybe counterproductive. Perhaps lenses in grey or brown may work. In  B&W Photography orange or red filters are used to get a dark sky with bright clouds.

New Berretta a400 xcel sporter gray

I have a 1301 which has the same system built in. Never had a single issue. It cycled even cheap low brass 24g from the first day on without running in.

    Shooting fitness

No, he did very well. But that kind of experience and talent is very rare.  And because I'm far away from those skills I have to try to make it a bit easier for me.

I doubt driving around in a golf cart and wearing 4XL clothes would help anyone being a World Champion.
