    Practice with tighter chokes?

You could use IC, but it won´t make too much difference. Much more important is your gun position , foot position and a quick and reliable gun mount. On stand 8 the chokes are almost useless, anyway ;-)

Blaser F3 thoughts, issues and advice

It also depends on what you just like, or of what you have dreamed about an can now afford it, perhaps. I was invited to a krieghoff event and shot a K-80 the fist time. Top gun, proven, no doubt. But after shooting a box of cartridges I thought to myself: Would I spend 15k for that gun...

    Skeet shot size?

I shoot some olympic skeet from time to time and the reason of failure is wrong movement, lazy gun mount, lack of speed. Mostly it is a hit or not. Due to the distances there is not much inbetween Just one shot per clay, the  clay should bes shot before the middle between high and low house...

Lead Shot Ban, in news again

They don't care. They are happy about every gun less in People's hands. Nothing more scary than a well known and controlled citizen. Same here in germany. EU- lead ban will come.

Eye dominance would be a nice topic to watch.

Or they belong to the army and are supported, as many talented shooters are (in the olympic disciplines especially).

I think shooting is not the discipline to make a living anyway. Very few people. But no one will get rich trough out shooting, in my opinion.

Depends how much you´ll spend next week and what to make out of world titles. The problem is that even the Olympic Champions in shooting are rarely noticed and no events could be seen here on TV. Just 10 Minutes on Eurosport, that´s it.

    Cartridge Storage

Put them in a locked cabinet (it´s a law here anyway) to show her that you are serious about safety.  So the gun is not that "dangerous" without the cartridges. And perhaps you find a friendly female trainer for her to get in touch with the sport. Some words have to be said by others than the...

    Buy out

Thank you for this Information, I didn' t know that. And Eley Hawk was sold to UEE (now Maxam) in 2002, says Wikipedia. Just read it after your post. The Eley .22 is excellent, by the way.

    Buy out

My Boxes of Eley Olympic Blues say "Made in EU", but no one can be sure in these days. The well known German Brands Rottweil/ RWS/ Geco have been sold to Swiss RUAG Ammotech. The Rottweil Shotgun cartridges are also made in Italy or Spain, I think. Now RUAG sold this part of their group to...

    Buy out

Eley Shotgun Cartridges say "Made in EU" on the box, so Spain (Maxam) seems to be presumable. The Eley 22 cartridges are still made in the UK, I think?

    Shotgun Balance

I feel comfortable with a gun slightly balanced to the stock. Upper arm to forearm at about an angle of 90°. When looking from the front left and right forearms are also in an angle at about 90°. This might result in a position on the gun different to another shooter. So I think the angle of...

    Gun reviews on youtube

Just from dealers: https://www.frankonia.de/p/antonio-zoli/bockdoppelflinte-gc-expert/195212 There is also a "GC Lady " available. But I could not find either the GC or the Zoli One on Zolis Website. https://www.zoliantonio.com/en/ Seems they have different marketing in different countries.

    Gun reviews on youtube

I like your reviews, Lloyd. It seems that the Zoli One is UK exclusive? Has a lot in common with the GC Expert which is sold in Germany (and other countries around). Maybe it´s the same gun?

    Back up gun?

    And which is which? 😉

Is your gun a tool or something you worry will get damaged?

Light, compact and really good in low light... not an easy task. To work very good in low light big lenses are needed. But a scope with a 56 front lens is usually heavy. Perhaps a S&B Zenith 3-12x50 is a good compromise.

    Shooting clothing.

Woolpower or Odlo Merinowool Underwear 200g/m² or thicker 400g/m². Very warm and comfortable. When it is very cold I wear my Carinthia MILG Jacket, but more for hunting than for shooting.

Is your gun a tool or something you worry will get damaged?

As the adage goes (in Germany) "Show me your tools and I tell you what kind of craftsman you are". It takes 10 Minutes to clean my shotgun and put some oil on it. After a shooting it in the rain I dry it with a cloth and wait some time until i put in the closet back. Never had any problems with...

    Berretta 694 problems

No problems with my 692. I like this gun and it shoots well. The bad reputation came from a few early models with those fancy ejectors, but later models don´t use them. They are just the same as in the 694 as shown in the video.
