Wanted Adj LH DT10 stock sought

I might be tempted to get the existing stock made adjustable. Where are you in the country - Simon Wilmore at Doveridge does an excellent job, It would also be helpful to speak to a stocker to see if the existing stock can be bent to fit. Ben (Husthwaith) may pop up to say they don't stay (and...

    CPSA classification

It is unfortunate that the next C Class shooter will have been deprived of a win on what might have been one of their best days. Hopefully BM asked for the prize to be passed down the chain. It would be helpful to know the reasoning behind the odd classification but I assume its simply having...

    DT11 trigger shoe

Most are fixed (such as SP1) - with adjustable on 682 (Gold & Gold E etc) and some 687s. I can't be sure of some of the EELL specs. Beretta do (maybe now its did) sell a kit to convert the standard trigger to adjustable so I had that fitted on my 686E. It was £120 (plus a gunsmith hour to fit)...

    DT11 trigger shoe

Good idea from Phil there. Not sure its the same on the DT11 but on the 680 series the blade can be removed by pushing it forward when pulling the trigger - the angle is enough to provide the extra room to free it from the assembly. It's an odd and fiddly process. It might be easier to work on...

    DT11 trigger shoe

I expect there is for the Dt11 - the 694 has triggers that swap out with 686 etc and they come in LH slants. It stops the tendency to pull the edge of the trigger and for the money I would suggest a swap. The finger sits more naturally across the blade (not edge) and the trigger can be moved...

Sporting shoots 2023. How was it?

That was being constructed when I was there 3 weeks ago. It's a welcome addition. I recall a few years back they had an 8 trap layout on one of the skeet layouts - that was a lot of fun but was not a permanent feature. Is the sportrap layout still on at the bottom (near the old driven) ?

    Shot size, load and patterning

I agree with Will however it might have some small but irrelevant effect. Assuming we are shooting at a clay 40 yards away – that’s 120 feet and the shoot on average (over that 40 yards) travels at 1,200 foot per second, it takes 1/10th of a second to arrive. If, as the video suggests, the...

    Wanted 725 S3 30INCH

Very happy to stand corrected on this point bit I understand that inertia triggers on some guns require the trigger be released or 'relaxed' to ensure it will reset for the second barrel. Not sure this is entirely relevant to the point here but there's always some learning curve gun to gun.

    Wet, Cold & No Birds.

Solar panels are no longer (customer) subsidized in the UK - the best you can do is offset Kw into the grid by having the latest meter and tariff. Whilst the tech has got better they are rubbish in the middle of the UK winter with limited and poor sun hours. For my system 3Kw total today when...

    Wet, Cold & No Birds.

Thanks for your comments. Sorry about the thread title. I suppose I was a bit ticked with the pre-payment system meaning I needed to tell them and then ‘argue’ the point – Most of the grounds I know ask at payment and generally everybody has the same problem so they are aware. I did also...

New Berretta a400 xcel sporter gray

There can be an issue with Fiocchi primers which are set in (very) slighter more than other brands so 'short' firing pins can result in misfires. If it does the same with Lyalvale Sporters however that can probably be discounted. My daughters Winchester 101 struggled with Fiocchi TT1's but was...

    Wet, Cold & No Birds.

Just quick question and comment of my own. Shot Northampton on Sunday and there were a noticeable number of no birds which given the snow/rain that morning did not surprise me. Personally I think they did well to get the shoot on etc. As it was a CPSA Comp, the only issue with the no birds (for...

At last the truth is out - you're a handbag swinging, bookselling, forum troll. No further replies required to your posts from me.

    Mindset change

I totally get you point of view Paul but I'm tired of Peter's contradictory posts and also his assumption that I agree with his general comments about forum members expressing a different point of view - Do you think you are one of the "arrogant, narcissistic, rude individuals".

    Mindset change

Peter. Please don't include me in your conclusions about forum members. You know the sort:- The "I know which eye is my dominant one because I can see better with it" and "I know it doesn't work because it doesn't take into account the difference in gun speed" guys I don't know the 'sort'...

    Mindset change

Peter. This is the same post you have made on numerous previous occasions. It’s well past boring. If you have “a genuine desire to help people” then post a constructive reply. Nothing in your post prompts meaningful discussion. If the forum is “routinely full of arrogant, narcissistic, rude...
