Not upset at all, just disappointed.

Luke. I need to re-re-edit my post above (#130} because I think the semicircle is drawn from the target crossing point. Also, if its not clear, and thinking about it further, I would agree with your comments in full as the station & clay lines being parallel is only material if your kill...

"Freddypip Luke contacted me in October saying his average was 22-23 for Olympic skeet and that he would quote from the e mail :-"love to explore any means and theory for improving." I told him I could help with that, FREE OF CHARGE. I then e mailed him some very clear, precise and specific...

I should have added the following, If you want to have a constructive role on this forum (or any other) it's not a case of thanking people when they agree with you but having the good manners to allow them to disagree with you.

You don't need to thank me for agreeing with you if I think it's right to say it. As Luke says this is not the right place if you need a 'pat on the back'. I expect however Luke is entirely correct for how he shoots Stations 3, 4 & 5 because of his kill points and technique. For me this is...

“Pete. Thanks for your advice on skeet, it was 100% correct and I really appreciate it. I never realized that the lead on #3 and #4 low house, because the flight line of the targets are parallel to those two stations are exactly the same. And the lead on #4 and #5 high house are also the exactly...

So you asked question No.1 to imply I should look at your website and be amazed by it's content. That’s a bit tenuous !. As for a better – lets be nice and say alternative – system, the CPSA have their own which forms part of their coaching qualifications and which is supported by their...

I have read it. All of it. And reviewed it. 1. No. Doing my CPSA Level 1 in the spring but I have a perfectly respectable day job so the qualification is primarily for interest & friends. 2. No Idea. I don't live in the US. 3. No Idea. I'm not a publisher. Wynno - You are totally right but he...

"FESkent. Are you the same person who I tried to give advice on solar panels, knife edge separators, arm rubbers and machine covers to reduce the number of breakages from machines on the Wet, Cold & No Bird post? If so, I would really appreciate it if you absolutely do NOT under any...

FESkent. There is a kindle app for iphone/ipad etc in case that helps. I'm not sure enough to provide direct instructions on setting it up but My wife used it and it was linked to her Amazon account so purchases were paid for via Amazon and then the book accessible on the App.

Peter. No hostility just a little frustration that you promote your book every few days when it should be in the in the “For Sale or Wanted" section where we know what it is. I also get ticked when you ask for a review and then knock it down. “When the book came out in 2017 I received lots of...

An honest review should be honest according to the person reading the book – a review expressing their views without bias, influence or deceit. It’s an opinion which the rest of us are then free to value or ignore at our choice. That’s what was given - even then with caveats - and my annoyance...

    Beretta 694 sporting choke replacements

Chokes have been discussed a lot on this forum - I have posted this before but the Briley choke chart shows how much can be killed with less choke than you think - https://www.briley.com/p-60919-sporting-clays-choke-chart.aspx For me many clays need less choke and a 1/4 is a must - almost...

Unfortunately, only one of them responded by saying, quote:- "there isn't anything new for an experienced shot...

I know someone who has them and my initial view is they would not - I am not sure however if inserts are available for them.

    Beretta 694 sporting choke replacements

Usual candidates should be available but I bought Teague Titanium (standard extended) in 3/8 & 5/8 and they were fine. Allowed me to take one of the 40g weights out of the stock - not much of weight saving but the gun is a bit heavy overall. The Teagues lock up tight enough with some Rocol...

    Customising

I would be very interested to see if that composite stock outlasts the wonder that is wood - bit like fitting PVCu windows every thirty years due to degradation as opposed to looking after some decent wooden ones.

    Miroku MK60

There not a lot (if anything) between them in terms of mechanics and reliability - they are after all the same gun. The MK60 would have been a fixed choke gun (the MK70 is the multi choke version) which has had Brileys added at a later date. That's not a bad thing but it does mean that gun is...

Will is correct - and other posts on the forum support this - in that turning up solo to a CPSA shoot puts you in a squad with other and you quickly get to know people. It worked for me - It's a good sport socially.
