Are your eyes looking where you think they are?

You’re welcome - you have loads of DD options, acuvue moist for astigmatism, acuvue oasys for astigmatism, Clariti daily toric, Focus daily toric etc The prism would help with shooting both eyes open, if the prism really is 14 diopters, shooting both eyes open without it is unlikely to be...

Are your eyes looking where you think they are?

Are your shooting one eye or both eyes open? And is the prism horizontal  or vertical? Thanks Joost, so currently, it isn’t possible to correct Prism in soft contact lenses so the value won’t be on them. The Comfilcon A material is most likely to be a lens called Biofinity Toric. It’s good...

    Pilla question?

    Pilla question?

28cr would be a good option for RG colour deficiency 🤓

Are your eyes looking where you think they are?

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve logged in and now have some new things to show you all. We’ve invested in some pretty cool technology, one of which is the Eye Tracker shown in the video below which allows me to assess how accurately a shooter is able to track a target. When the...

    Favour!

Hello all - I have a small favour to ask! I've been shortlisted for Optometrist of the year and now need to gather some votes (in a non-Trump way!) If anyone gets time, a vote or two would be much appreciated. https://www.mi-vote.com/aopawards2020/ Many thanks Ed

Hi Rick - they both serve the low light purpose well but are at a different price point. Happy to send you one of each to try if you’d like? Ed

Change lens at the touch of a button?

    Already on it 😉

    Nose hurts!

Hello! Sorry for late reply - if you pop them in to your local optician they will be able to swap them for some larger softer pads or even a saddle bridge that goes over the nose to spread the weight 🤓

    Nose hurts!

Swapping the pads to a larger silicone bridge could make them more comfortable 🤓

    Shooting glasses

£26 a lens is a bargain! I don’t stock Decot or Hi Scorer but it’s very useful to know the lenses interchange. Hope you managed to return the Pillas? As well as the ShootClay discount we offer a returns policy too if they don’t fit 🤓

    astigmatism

Yes that would be best for sharpness and stability of vision. Sauflon clariti one day torics are also good 🤓

    astigmatism

Hello! Sorry for the late reply. The problem with some toric lenses is that they rotate on the eye. The astigmatism needs correcting in a very specific position so when the lens moves it causes transient blurring. However, there are many different designs and modes of stabilisation so we can...

    YouTube Channel

Hello everyone. Just got back from a fantastic weekend at the European DTL championships at MidWales shooting ground. Ive recently taken stock of some new Strobe glasses for vision training and hit a PB of 99/290 after a short training session with them. I’ve set up a YouTube account which...
