It's a personal choice of course, but that is about right for a 100-150 bird day depending on the estate. Of course, if it's a great day or they present a good day in unfavourable conditions that tip could increase. Do you know what sort of bag number could be expected?

I shoot White Gold plas wad the majority of the time, but I just use the same in Fibre when required as I get the same velocity as well as recoil characteristics.

The prelim (preliminary) is a registered sporting competition over 100 birds. It's designed to be shot before the main event as a form of a warm up.

I've booked on to this but I was too slow to get a weekend slot! Monday for the Sportrap and then Tue/Weds for the Sporting. Considering the Prelim as well but wondering if travelling to EJC and back for three days might be enough!

Used one very similar last season, not too bad but only get a couple hours heat when set on 'high' when out in the cold!
