Issues with cheeckbone bruising - expert help needed.

+1  Except I would put the spacer under the toe. Under the heel will increase the downpitch and make the recoil worse.  I have gotten to near "0" pitch on my guns.  All are recoil free. JMO of course

    ABT history

It would be more complicated than that but still way doable.  Three or four vertical settings and a minimum of five horizontal.  With the electronics and computers today it would be a semi-pricey development but dirt cheap to produce and could be prolly adaptable to several makes of machines. ...

Got a pal for three weeks

The expression on her face seems to say that the pack was just fine as it was

    ABT history

The first "wobble" traps were made by Winchester and promoted as an inexpensive alternative to OT.  They gained popularity to the point that for a time under the international organization prior to the ISSF (I think it was called the UIT), the UIT sanctioned ABT events as an alternative to...

Beretta DT11 with TSK stock Skeet/Sporting vs Trap

The spacer would just change the angle of the  comb relative to the centerline of the gun.  Everything else adjusts around that.  Might make it easier to mount the gun in oly skeet but that would be a completely personal thing.  I've never seen any sort of examination of comb angle on skeet guns...

    Barrel length 693 vittoria

As I've mentioned before, I just wear a heavy stainless wrist chronograph to take care of the balance adjustment.  And a heavy silver ID bracelet to balance that with a couple of the guns.  Fine tuning things like that are the obvious path to success in world class competitions. oh, wait...

    Barrel length 693 vittoria

It does not require any additional weight to make the swing seem slower.  I have an MT6 with two barrel sets a 72cm and a 75cm.  Both flat rib, no side ribs, factory screw-ins in both barrels.  Identical weight stamps tho the 75mm does weigh 1oz (28gm) more on the postal scale.  Same gun, same...

    Barrel length 693 vittoria

That might make the gun feel easier to mount but it will definitely NOT make it swing faster.  Any given mass will have a certain amount of inertia and adding mass at the other end will have no effect.

    Barrel length 693 vittoria

Neither my wife or I would qualify as "small"...   I've (we've) shot 28"/72cm barrels for 25+ years now.  I've tried 30" and 32" in a variety of weights and configurations and I always return to the 72cm.  My wife shoots an MX8 with 72cm barrels and factory screw-ins in both barrels.  The gun...

"new" type clays ,whats the best shade lenses to use

I can't help with the color for those clays but target color has been a longtime peeve of mine.  I mean WTF is up with making or using invisible targets ?!?!?!?  WTF purpose does that serve?  In my naivete I presumed that the game was not about seeing the target but more like hitting it.  Where...

Both eyes most definitely open The only thing I'm in denial about is a personal matter that fortunately does not involve the eyes

    Ear muffs

Tho I haven't gotten around to doing it yet I decided to just relieve the TSK and Evocomp stocks that I'm shooting most now.  The muffs I use touch every stock I have.  The combs are short already and the part below the muff does nothing anyway.  Not like the aesthetics are gonna suffer AFAIC.

    What lubriacant for actions?

I was referring to organic finishes.  Doesn't touch any metal finish like bluing or the case color for that matter - just the varnish. It continues to amaze me (no it doesn't) that shooters still use 19thCentury lubes and/or think that they can formulate something superior to 21stCentury...

    What lubriacant for actions?

Around here the auto parts stores have an aerosol disc brake cleaner that kills.  I just remove the stock and blast out the action with the stuff.  If the gun was particularly crusty I'd soak it in kerosene for a few hrs first then blast it out.  The spray is extremely volatile and dries with no...
