    Perazzi mx2000S

I didn't say I hadn't seen the problem I just said that it is not intrinsic to the design as there are many properly fitted Perazzi stocks that do not crack.  The problem lies elsewnere.
  2. Wonko the Sane

    Perazzi mx2000S

A common complain about Perazzis that is simply not true.  What IS true is that Perazzi stocks APPEAR to be interchangeable when in fact they are interchangeable to the extent they are properly fitted to the gun they are to be used on.   In nearly 30yrs and a number of guns and many stocks I...

    Ballistics

Shotguns are the poster boy for generalities.  Any aspect can be quantified by the scale of:  Some, More, Lots, Too Much (never enough) Deal with it.

Shoot of my life (A lockdown time filler)

Tho I was never Mr. Wonderful and was never more than mid-list at the end, I always enjoyed the pigeon shoots where I got to do some serious BS'ing with some of the best pigeon shooters in the US including a couple World Champions.  All in all good folks and good times.

    Perazzi mx2000S

I'm fairly sure that the PFS has grips to fit all the popular trap/sporting gun makes and models.  I had one and passed it on as I prefer the TSK and EvoComp style adjustos.  The PFS does have an excellent rep here tho. https://precisionfitstocks.com/

    28” or 30” ballistically different.

Differences so minuscule and random as to be unpredictable and undetectable.  It's a shotgun - get over it :hunter:
  7. Wonko the Sane

    gun fit ?

That would likely be all of them.  And if you buy a new Perazzi the package includes a custom fitting of the stock for YOU.  For all the have-nots like me a TSK or EvoComp or similar stock solves all of those problems as well.  That is not to say that the regular stock cannot work, you just have...

    gun fit ?

Mr. Powell is perfectly correct but I wouldn't be seen with a Kreegwhorefer simply be cause they are too ugly.  But even a TSK or an Ergosign cannot make a Perazzi any less than the beauteous guns that they are. A simple fact and not JMO

    World Championships postponed

IMO the "sports" at the Olympics for the most part wouldn't be worth walking across the street to see, let alone pop a few $K to travel to.  The IOC and sponsoring countries would lose a fat piggy bank but the athletes for all intents and purpose would likely lose nothing if the World Cups...

    Chamber length

I means they are 3" and you can use anything up to that in them.

DT11 black vs Perazzi MX2000s sporter

Seems to me that Lloyd suffers from some commitment issues and is just pissing into the wind with any new relationship.  I recommend some sort of new hobby.  I mean, if Italians can't do it .............

DT11 black vs Perazzi MX2000s sporter

John, why is it that you always have to show off that gun?  I mean, give the folks a break.  How many are gonna find something like that?

    or why it smells funny

    Trap and/versus Sporting barrels.

I had one of the Ljutic Spaceguns.  It was serial# 0000 - the fourth prototype.  It was fine gun for ATA trap but of course useless for anything else.  It was likely the seminal gun for the high rib fad.  ATA shooters in general will take any fad to its absurd extreme for some of the most...

    Trap and/versus Sporting barrels.

The one I shot was built on the standard Belgie Browning like this one
  16. Wonko the Sane

    Trap and/versus Sporting barrels.

There was, may still be, a series of Brownings called ST here and  Carvega(?) where you are that had that feature.  I passed on buying an ST-100 that was set to zero diff on the POI's cos I thot it was too much $ for something I didn't feel I needed.  JMO of course...
  17. Wonko the Sane

    Trap and/versus Sporting barrels.

All the guns I've had shoot to the same POI and I've shot prolly all of them at the plate at one time or another.  I have never understood the biz about having bbls that shoot to different POI.  To me that makes no sense no matter what the argument is in favor.  I have trouble enough remembering...
  18. Wonko the Sane

    Trap and/versus Sporting barrels.

Aside from the guns that have hangers that allow some manipulation of the relative POI of the O/U barrels I suspect that the fixed convergence is the same or so nearly the same brand to brand that the difference has to be inconsequential.  And FWIW I can attest that AFA my meager skills are...

Resin clays to be the norm.

Since the resin target constitutes a wholly new manufacturing process (short of packaging maybe)  I would suspect that a wholly new pricing structure would not be unexpected.  The quantities of product involved would seem to provide a speedy amortization but we all know how pricing works. BOHICA

Resin clays to be the norm.

Shooting hasn't been the same since the clay target replaced the feather filled glass balls   :(
