    Shooting with both eyes open

NB, I really don't like those graphics, potentially rather misleading in my opinion...

    Shooting with both eyes open

Cue people pointing their finger at something in the distance, looking back at the screen and and going "so what am I???"

    Shooting with both eyes open

Hi Skybo!   Whilst i would of course be very happy to help with the visual side if there is an issue with clarity of sight, eyewear etc, it sounds very much like more of a coaching/practice issue at the moment. Checking the bead and measuring the lead will mean that you get two clays, then...

    OT shoots coming up

Good idea - do they hold reg shoots there too? I was pretty hopeless but learned a lot, will shoot it differently next time…got caught in two minds with which birds to take. As big chief Running Weasel says, "when the eagle chases two rabbits, both go free…"

    Where we going this Weekend.

Ranton for the Double Rise, squadded with Graham Evans, Karl Prince, Ben Lycett and that Solomons chap!

    Most appropriate ;)

Probably found this a bit too amusing..!

DTL everywhere! But where to shoot?

Double Rise at Ranton - double the fun, apparently!

    Eye floaters

Morning! Floaters in the vitreous of the eye are not uncommon at all and occur as our eyes get older, they are perhaps develop more frequently in short-sighted people (i have over 30 tiny ones per eye) and recoil can induce some disturbances. There is a particularly complicated procedure...

    What lense colour?

Its a good contrast lens so useful for picking up detail and blocks 88% of the incident light - as its brown based, its still a bit bright for me, i tend to go for the grey base lenses as they make my eyes fell more relaxed. What frame do you have?

    I/C ABT N&DGC

Might do the Double Rise at Ranton, not shot that yet either, but Rugby could be a possibility!

    I/C ABT N&DGC

It was a good day out, blustery is not the word! First 100 ABT and felt I learned a lot so looking forward to shooting another round in less than galeforce conditions! Well done to all those that shot 90+ today, good going!

Would anyone be interested in . . .

I'll see what i can get made and what some approximate costs are!

Would anyone be interested in . . .

Yes! $90 is pretty top end. Id hope they cleaned the specs in for that!

Would anyone be interested in . . .

…a NICE leather case/pouch for their glasses? I'm fairly close to Walsall which has(d) a huge leather industry and while leather cartage boxes and pouches are popular i was wondering about the same for specs. Comments welcome :) Ed

    Clear lenses

With respect to the tint question, everyone perceives colour slightly differently, each eye will uniquely focus (or distort!) light due to variations in the refracting mediums - the tear film, cornea, lens and vitreous, and each person's visual cortex will process light wavelengths in a unique...

    What lense colour?

Ha! I'll be packing the B D lenses again thats for sure! I'm a bit light sensitive so i tend to wear a medium to densely saturated tint for most of my shooting, i found the late afternoon sun to be particularly intense so i favoured the Randolph CMT lenses for my shooting specs and the Oakley...
