    Wad development

The long term affects of PVA in the environment are important to consider. Most man-made polymers are not biodegradable. However, there are a few (including PVA) that are biodegradable when dissolved in water. This means that when PVA is disposed, micro-organisms that commonly exist in nature...

    I don't see lead..do you?

Point at the corner of a room, stare hard at it. I'm sure you can still see your finger! Still staring hard at the corner move your finger 6 inches left or right to track the wall/ceiling joint. i can still see my finger. When I shoot a crosser I mount to my pickup point, the bead is on or just...

    Wad development

Lots of PVA products are used in course fishing. It starts to degrade soon after contact with water so PVA bags are used to get bait close to the hook.

    I don't see lead..do you?

I always see the bead in my peripheral vision and its sharp. Very rarely do I not see it. If I'm caught out by a clay then I haven't planned my shot very well.

    I don't see lead..do you?

I don't understand how people don't see lead. Although I'm looking at the clay I'm still seeing the bead in my vision... I'm not good at giving lead a number to tell someone else as I think it's personal and as long as I'm consistent with my own sight pictures that's all that matters. People...

    Fibre / Felt wad cartridges

Regardless, look at the pattern and tell me if the leads is in the right place what isn't going to break... If people want to continue shooting plastic then bio degradable has to be the only way and they need to degrade as fast as possible.

    Fibre / Felt wad cartridges

Have look at the fibre Hull Sporting 100 pattern test at 40 yards in Septembers Clay Shooting magazine and tell me why you need plastic... They had a better consistency than the plastic wad version.

    Blaser F3 feedback ?

I've not had a cartridge give me any problem in my F3 or had any problem with the ejectors and I don't clean after every shoot. Only thing I've changed is the pitch. Don't even look at other guns now, I don't have a reason to even think of changing.

    Fibres or plastics?

I've decided to shoot fibre as much as possible there's no excuse to litter the ground with plastic and I've not shot any recent shoots where I've felt any disadvantage. My misses aren't because of the wad... I'm shooting Kents by Gamebore at the moment.

Come back Sporter Mk38 or f3

Only you can choose, you'll get an opinion from each camp in favor of the gun they shoot.... I shoot an F3 Professional and have no reason to change it, in fact I don't even look at guns now. It was at the top end of my budget but don't regret buying it for one minute. Unless you spend the...

    New Classifications

We have a basic handicap system at our small Sunday club. We always shoot 50 sporting so take an average of each shooters scores. If this works out at say 29 then that person gets a 21 handicap. We have two handicap shoots each year and just add the handicap on the the score on the day, if a...

    Widest patterning cartridge?

Would a fibre wad cartridge be a better option. I'm confused about your insistance on a tight fixed choke gun but then shooting a different cartridge to try and achive the same result as changing multi choke gun changed to an open choke.

    Shot Sizes........???

They don't claim to make their own primers or cases, in fact they state they use CX2000 primers (Cheddite) in every cartridge they manufacture. They do however produce their own shot and plastic wads.
