Only use for checking ejector timing and trigger pull, thats all they are good for.

Imo pattern testing is exactly that, poi / poa is best evaluated on a DTL type target were gun speed and other factors enter the equation. From my experience (40 yrs) poi / poa evaluation on a plate will mess your head in.... just my opinion of course

I handled one a few weeks ago and i dont see what all the fuss is about  it had a wooden end and a dangerous end and some stuff in between that i dont take any notice of anyway....everyone should just shoot a cheapo pump action couple hundred quid job done love it 🤣

I might be a great big thicko but if the shot is encapsulated in a cup wad then whatever the shot is made of (steel in the case of this debate) can't contact the barrell so whats the problem....apart from the fact that apparently steel doesnt kill as well....surely there must be a softer "model"...
