I have a Winchester 101XTR that has a single tramline, it might be of some use when checking the way the gun comes up to your shoulder and point of aim but I certainly don't see it when aiming at a "target" in my bedroom or indeed, when shooting

You already know what chokes the gun has - your words "I believe on the barrels it is marked IM bottom F top." (3/4 and Full) The markings won't lie, if the chokes had been altered you would see new markings on the barrels.

Good work, however you are not getting what you might expect if they shoot a tight pattern. I use FBlus for longer targets (with pleasing results) and something with a more open pattern for close to medium targets.
