when I look back over the last 6 months or so my scores vary plus 10 and minus 10 about my average which is quite a variation I suppose. It depends where I'm shooting, the weather, the layout on the day and whether I'm having a good day or bad day.

Its interesting to see that they publish the scores while the competition is in progress, so why do we have to wait 3-4 days for some shoots to put their scores up?

take care because there are no pigeons in the countries where they are made and they don't look very lifelike, I tend to paint mine. I bought some lifelike shell decoys from Nitehawk a while back they came with a useful carry bag but cant see them on their site now :(

Most people would agree, myself included, but there must come a point where being "challenged" is like banging your head against the wall and is just plain discouraging, it's a question of balance.

Fair comment Westward, but if we are looking for the reasons for Gunsite being better attended than Westfield (which we were,) it might be because people in general prefer a shoot that is not so much on the firm side. of course it might just be down to geographical location or some other...

That's an interesting theory, last two averages at Gunsite were: 8.10.23 - 81% 10.09.23 - 80% Westfield: 12.11.23 - 74% 29.10.23 - 71% So at a glance, Westfield appears to be the tougher shoot. TBH I think Gunsite is tough enough, but as they say, no pain = no gain.
