With the cartridge prices being as high as they are now I dont think shooters are practising as much as they use to. Spoke to few  at the weekend end and they were saying there local grounds are empty during the week days, fuel prices are not helping 

Shooting this on Saturday, 3 hour drive but I know its going to be worth it, best ground in the country IMO 

It was a different course setter   JP was elsewhere

Don't change anything to suit me, if you can see pellets travelling at 1400fps bouncing of clays 40 yards away you have a gift no one else has or some very expensive shooting glasses...... Where did you get them from? 

You must have amazing eyesight if you can see pellets bouncing of a clay at 40 yards  :O

And of course that's your choice, I would use the same cartridge size and open up the chokes

It is the case the pattern is controlled by the choke size .... end of 

If for example your using a 1/2 choke in your gun, the pattern size will be the same if your using a 9 shot or 61/2, the choke controls the pattern not the shot size
