The point of the thread was what cleaner can I get online? I've ordered some 009 stuff from eBay. I was looking for Clenzoil but couldn't find anywhere on the web that wanted to sell it to me except as part of a kit. Thanks for the helpful responses.

I started off using Napier gun cleaner, but even though I was very thorough in cleaning my gun the gunsmith pointed out a lot of lead buildup and told me to get a cleaner with solvent in for occasional use. I did, but I've run out and want to order some online. What would you recommend?

If it was Mike Yardley I'd ask for another source. He makes pronouncements about eye dominance in women that he won't back up with evidence, even when asked by Ed Lyons.

I did well enough, and I wasn't whining about it. Cambridge has a really nice DTL set up now.  I might take up DTL just because the facilities are so good and convenient. 

Apparently the birds were awfully low with lots of top shots complaining that the birds weren't hooped, so I am that I was probably at least 20 points shy as lots of really good shots were. It's a nice thought :-)

Looking at my score card I missed 26 completely and had 18 second barrel kills. I love that working out the percentages are so easy!  Improvement on that kind of number should come easily with practice. Getting out to practice is the hard part right now :-) Back to sporting, then skeet, then I...

Did it! 204 ex 300. I missed a few, second barrelled a few more, but did reasonably well. It was a learning experience that is for sure. No one told me about clearing your barrel or calling for a bird as I was on 1 so that was a surprise. I was starting to know when I was going to miss almost...
