    Covid tier system.

I think it's a bit of common sense. As I said las time. If there are 2 shoots of similar standing (practice/ registered in the same tier  then that should be where you go. If it's a championship in anorthertier then that's a reasonable excuse to go. If not then the championship becomes invalid...

    Covid tier system.

The intentions of the tiered approach are good. Unfortunately due to the size of each area they have used to implement them on it makes it difficult to swallow in some areas.  Should have been done by borough. It makes no sense in parts of Devon and Lancashire.

    Buying a gun

Condition if all else is equal. However as above features will play a part as will styling. Manufacturers now change the engraving patterns, choke styles and are now adding balancing systems and don't forget steel proof etc.  The XTR will be a different beast to the new XT pro (if they do one)...

    Another lockdown

Well I give up. Day off today so would have normally gone to a shooting ground. With it not being possible thought I'd take the dog up Rivington pike.  It was unbelievably busy, Car park packed to overflowing. Streams of people marching up and down the paths. Ok so I was there too but I was at...

Shoot of my life (A lockdown time filler)

Mine was years ago. My Dad and myself went to a very posh shoot on the way home after cleaning a Boat moored off shore. I wasn't in my best clothes sporting hhe odd rip or two and to say I had a bit of muck on me is a bit of an understatement. I had  decided to take a very old Breda Auto I used...

Think your Sunday is going badly? Look at my barrel..

Not necessarily.  You don't need to be Rocafeller or a Depp. A consultation fof this type of dispute and letter shouldn't break the bank.  It doesn't need a team of leading Barristers.  I had to look into this recently. It's a long story but I too though it was going to be not worth the cost, ...

Think your Sunday is going badly? Look at my barrel..

The pictures of the removed dirty choke would imply that the issue was caused by maintenance.  If the choke was in the same condition as the ones in the choke case the night before  the failureI Think it might be worth 150 notes or so to get a solicitor to ask some questions? Another route...

Think your Sunday is going badly? Look at my barrel..

That's one hell of a dirty choke. Did it look anything like that when you removed it to check the damage after the failure in the other barrel? or was clean as in it had non of the brown goo that it is covered with now. I don't mean a bit of soot as they all get a bit of that unless Invector...

Think your Sunday is going badly? Look at my barrel..

That would be my take too. It does seem.very odd that there's been no indication of the outcome.  Bit cloak and dagger.  If they have accepted it was due to their work why wouldn't  they just re reimburse you for the work and for the damaged barrels. No Letter required. If it is your fault...

Think your Sunday is going badly? Look at my barrel..

Perhaps they are getting either the proof house or Nigel Teague himself to look at it. 🤔

    COVID-19 and Game season 20/21

Or down the crowded unregulated  local park where you can enjoy being run into by joggers, kids on bikes and seeing your dog being attacked by another that hasn't been out of the house since the last lockdown.

    World Championships postponed

Yep they killed it with greed. IMO As soon as it was opened up to professional sport it quickly lost meaning and ultimately it's soul.

    Another lockdown

Oven ready deal ring a bell?   Read that as half baked.

    COVID-19 and Game season 20/21

There's a bit of a push back on the outdoor activities. Again there seems to be no consitant message. Archery and shooting ranges are to close, However it seems it  would be ok to walk on the same land and sit on a bench with another for a pickernic ? Let's see what happens.

    World Championships postponed

Think that goes for most sports. It has been said that the IOC are still considering the Olympics next year. Slightly off topic.  If the olympics are cancelled then we will probably not see it rescheduled and we may have seen the last one.  There is a serious debate around why gather 1000s of...

Think your Sunday is going badly? Look at my barrel..

One thing I always do when getting a new choke (I did it in Thursday morning when installing some teague mobil chokes i had bougt for a beretta in another make that takes mobil chokes as I didn't want to use the long extended chokes supplied on a game shoot) is to fit them and run a pencil down...

    FOR SALE

The lack of part x in private sales is probably why people are reluctant to buy private. Also the lack of finance that shops offer.  I don't think it would go down well offering to pay for an £xk gun at a tenner per month privately.  On the other hand if you have the cash to hand there are...

Think your Sunday is going badly? Look at my barrel..

Which is the right thing to do.   I've know of Teague conversions for 30+ years and not heard of any failures. But siht happens very occasionally to even the very best. It's probably even more of a surprise and upsetting to them than anyone.

Think your Sunday is going badly? Look at my barrel..

Be interesting on what Teague say. I have some barrels with briley chokes. I'm sure they are fairly robust but It worries dometimes me how thin they are to the point of not wanting to squeeze them, even lightly.   I don't use that gun very often  though. Funny it's a full choke.  You'd have...

When you say custom. Do you mean thinwall rather than aftermarket ( teague invector plus etc.)?
