    Elephant in the room

Jan summed it up. There are plenty of Labour MPs who take part in country sports, including Shooting. If there's a threat from politicians, I doubt it's confined to one particular political party.

Bespoke Stock - Who would you choose

I think they all do. Infact it's part of the process if you go to Portugal and ones I know of in italy let you shoot it at a ground usually minutes away and make adjustments before the final finish. The main issue now is taking your gun with you. I had a few days that came free in the last...

Bespoke Stock - Who would you choose

How much? I know it's taboo, but ball park figures help a lot with deciding where to go. I hate going somewhere with no chairs or a handy de fib machine when the tell you how much. I like to be prepared 😉

    32gm 5's

I've used Cheddite Royal drive through a sxs..they are copper coated and were good at distance . The fact that I don't remember the recoil must mean they were ok.

    Wanted Wanted A303

Prob about the same. They are almost identical except for chamber lengths and the springy gas valve thing. I think valve was added to let excess gas out on heavier loads due to it having 3" chambers rather than 2"3/4 on the 303. I read somewhere that the ones with the A prefix, although retain...

    Wanted Wanted A303

The A390 is a good Clay gun. Almost Identical to the 303 except it has a gas valve and is less expensive as the AL391 and the A390 sporting model is heavier than the AL391.(apparently the L in AL means light) The AL391 also has a gas valve but is more difficult to clean as it's fixed to the...

    Gun Trader new website 😩😩😩

There seems very little housekeeping. With the number of items listed each day it shouldn't be that hard to keep on top of. Correcting speling misteaks and items listed under the wrong categories and moving the items to a standard or common model category can't be too difficult. How many MK38...

    Perazzi tour experiences

If your thinking of buying, I think you would be best contacting one of the main agents such as Bywell Shooting Ground. Even if you try and do it yoursef yourself you will still need to get an agent to import it to the country. The agent will talk you through the travel and accommodation...

    Leaf or Coil springs

Leaf springs are meant to give crisper pulls and faster lock times due to them being more powerful and the way they deliver it. Does it make a difference to.your scores? IMO, As long as the pulls are consistent and not too heavy. No

    Rule changes

I was surprised that ESK wasn't included as well as DTL& ABT. That's the one where thre is more chances of a loaded gun being waved around outside the safe zone. Especially on stands 1 and 7. As for OT and OSK. I believe Ben had already said that it was due to some countries that hold...

    Recyclable Clay Targets

My Dad had an aluminium clay. It used to get thrown on an easy target. It caused some scratched heads. especially for the local hot shots. Trouble with it was that it was hard to tell if it had actually been hit or not.

    Kemen KM4

They will possibly drop on. I can't remember which way round it was. I tried when I had a Kemen KM4 and a Perazz MX8 at the same time. Assuming as you say the kemen will go on the perazzi: They have different gaps in the slots on the Barrels that mate up with the wedge in the receiver. The gap...

    Kemen KM4

Not quite. the hammer springs need the locating pin to be trimmed and there are other differences that mean they are not just plug and play. The Barrels won't interchange at all. Stocks heading up is different too.

    Celtic but not

I guess a ban would be a reason. But I'd be surprised if there isn't a clause that would align them for banned shooters. It"s £19 cheaper but not really enough to be a reason on it's own. My own feeling based on that I know of a few that are in the Welsh CPSA as they shoot for the National...

    Gun for the Mrs ?

Great guns if you can find on in good condition. I picked up a 28" Browning B125 which has invector chokes, opposed to the B25 which until very recently (and will be way out of your budget) are fixed choke. The stock on these seem to be reasonably high and it was next to no money considering...

    Fred Williams Hammer 10 Bore

I was in a pub when a Yorkshire man dropped a pound at the bar. As he bent down to pick it up and it hit him on the back of the head. 😀

    Fred Williams Hammer 10 Bore

You could go to 1 1/2 oz or 42g. That would raise a few eyebrows.

I just can't see it happening.

    Rule changes

Ha, policing this is going to be fun for ABT and DTL. I can see that for ABT just about everyone will ignore it as the shooters referee each other. I'll wait to see how they do it for domestic comps in Italy etc. I bet pound to a pinch they will not be expected to adhere to this and nothing...

    Out of the ordinary Browning

I think it was quite popular at on time to have A1 grades customised. Wisemans did do them and some went back to Belgium where they would do them. Not sure if it was at the factory or if it was by the Engravers that had gone freelance. Just had a couple of guns with wisemans for some repair...
