    Isis comb raiser?

If it's to experement.  Go on fleabay and buy 20x20cm of adhesive neoprene sheet at around £2 incl postage and cut to size.  On my beretta 682 I cut it into a 25mm wide strip. It got  me the additioal height I wanted without the change in cast. The sheet is available in various thicknesses.

Isn't fitasc sporting governed/run by the BICTSF in the UK?

    New Gun Trader Web Site

I liked the county search.   I'd be really miffed if I was a trader paying for it. What's really surprising is the lack of acknowledgement there's a problem.

    New Gun Trader Web Site

I don't know why but it seems to be a trend to make software as unusable as possible.  It's a bit worrying when they talk about AI (and I've never seen any that beyond well rehearsed scenarios doesn't have major problems or just doesn't work) when the current batch of software nerds can't get...

    fixed choke

Browning B25s can be a bit touch an go as the barrels are really close together at the muzzle. I think mine must have been borderline.

    Follow through

It's might be  more about completing the shot properly. I've found if I feel I've stopped the gun it's actually more likely that my eyes have either come back to the rib/bead trying to rifle it or looking to see the break rather than staying with the gun through the shot. Basically not having...

    Quick question, Miroku MK38.

Stay open. Ut xan be closed by opening the lever again when the barrels are removed and letting the trap door fall to the closed position.  You might need to press it down. I always put aa gun in the case with the top lever in the middle. Just to release it so the lever doesn't catch the gun ...

Lead Shot Ban, in news again

I was thinking something similar.  Say some thing like: Max shot size of 6.5 for clay use. To be effective,  game shot really needs to be 6 or larger (in my experience).  I've used smaller  guages for game but even then in 16 ang 20g  they have been 26g or 28g in  5 or 6s.

    My first (Budget) gun

Hi.  I would seriously consider the Redofi EOS. I have one and have been  impressed by it.  The one in the link is a good deal.  https://www.guntrader.uk/guns/shotguns/redolfi/over-under/12-gauge/eos-sporting-adj-221011171558011

    Which lenses in these conditions

It's a very personal thing. I see people shooting well with colours that are the equivalent of a blindfold when I've tried them.  However I also can lose orange in white cloud using the mid range transparency 50- 65 orange lenses especially if they go into it from a darker background such as a...

DT10 Bit long in the tooth?

A few bargains abut but not many as we are lead to believe.   The funny thing is to me the steel shot thing is a marketing man's dream to sell new guns . No one will shoot HP steel at Clay targets. Just as currently no one can use > 28g 6's  in lead shot.   The biggest shot anyone will ever...

DT10 Bit long in the tooth?

The price is very reasonable for what looks like a tidy looking DT10L especially as  good standard DT10s will be £3k plus and  very good ones are going for £3.5k.

    Amber Hill.

Yes. Probably  nothing a bit of grease wouldn't have fixed.  Good gun awareness,  especially when it failed to fire.   To be fair It's one of those things that would probably affect the other competitors as much  as they are not in control of the situation.  I've had a gun (not a popular...

    Pilla Nose bridge/Piece

Thanks.  I found some old glasses in the loft (browning I think) which has a plastic arch nose pad that seems to work. I'll be in contact if I need to take up your offer.  Cheers.

    Miroku barrel weights

Same here,  never heard of a 3800 having weights. Would be interested to see the pre drilled  holes.   It could get ugly if weights are fitted to holes in a ported barrel.

Cartridge price increases now getting silly

Last satiurday I saw a gun for sale in the interweb that in my mind was worth a look at.  The shop is around 70 miles away. Normally I would just go.  I worked out the petrol cost. At around £28 for essentially what would have ended up as a browse. I  didn't  bother. I'll wait until I'm in the...

    Pilla Nose bridge/Piece

Hi. I've been using some Pilla no post shooting glasses.   I some leses have the little wire nose pads and a couple which are designed for archery (a blue one and a lime green )  don't have one fitted.  Either way, I need something to raise the lenses as they sit too low or slip down.  Pilla...
