Where can I watch the Olympic shooting events?

I didn't think it's any less entertaining than Golf, Tennis or Rowing. (Then again,  I think watching Football is seriously  boring )  At least now with HD TV you can see the target.  I wonder if they could use the same device that tracks a golf ball to highlight  the flight line of the clay.

Where can I watch the Olympic shooting events?

https://www.channel4.com/news/tokyo-olympics-best-action-often-stuck-behind-paywall Edited to add.   If you have Sky you can register on Discovery+ for free for 12 months. The live stream is there but it's a bit rubbish on the commentary and presenting side of things.

Where can I watch the Olympic shooting events?

I was looking for the Archery too. It seems (Ihaven't fact checked though) that because Discovery Channel US purchased the rights The BBC is limited to what it can show with only 2 live streams available.  Probably why the coverage is a bit hit and miss and not up to the standard we normally...

    Another price increase

My belief was that the additional duty was on items/products assembled from parts from sources from outside the country of  production. Just How many parts are there in a Wad?

    ABT history

Phil R and 40UP may know better than me but It was around in the 60's as it was used to train for OT as there were next to no OT layouts in the UK then.  It was probably cost of the trap and the need for acoustics and  the popularity  of DTL that meant it wasn't worth bothering with at most...

    Beretta unveiling... something?

It would be ideal for walked up or rough shooting.  I would guess that as in other counties already, non toxic shot is going to drive the move to more modern guns for game shooting in the uk.

    Anyone shoot steel?

Also what loads are you using for the Fast trap disciplines?  Currently those shooting  OT use 24g s with 7 or 8 shot.  with  a speed of around 400m/s. I tried some 24g 7s in steel and they were next to useless. I don't recall how fast they were though.  I haven't tried but would be...

How do you break into the UK gun market?

The ones that stand out to me are Kemen in the late 90's and more recently CG. Both these makes were given to the leading  shots in Trap and sporting and used to win major shoots.  They were also well balance and well thought out in the way they fit Mr average build. which is perfectly good...

    COVID-19 and Game season 20/21

Perhaps all is not lost.   I have to say I find Jonnys videos well worth a watch.   This is coming.  The longer term threat will be from those that continue to use lead after 2022 for game going to game dealers.

    First time

    Ha.  Wrong B word though.  It's B.a.n.t.e.r

    First time

Some of the words such as profanities are auto corrected to another word.  The B word you tried to use is included to stop derogatory comments being excused as that word.   Great news that shooting is open again un wales. Enjoy. Thankfully, Not long to wait here.

Where do you draw the line?

Agree if you define young as 20 to 35.  This is the age group (and the most important to grow the sport) which will suffer the most from people walking away. For the most part there are so many exciting or cheaper  activities to spend your money on.  Like I said in an earlier post. I gave up...

    For sale: Miroku MK38 Trap / 29" / Teague multi & multi / Adjustable trigger / £895

Unfprtunately it's not a good time to get a sale.  There's one fairly close to me for sale  However the all but essential travel is banned rule makes it out of the question  at the moment. Yes you could chance it if it was a fridge or something but as it's s firearm and all private sales have to...

Where do you draw the line?

The regular registered shoots I do tend to be around £35.00 comp. Which looking back and allowing for inflation is very close to what I was paying at the same places 18 years ago.  Doing the same calculations. Cartridges look to be about £50 to £60 more expensive per 1000  now. Carts then were...

    Oh, how I wish...

On Sunday we walked past 4 full football games on park pitches. One game they had even put nets up in the goals. Yogi bear would have had a field day pinching pickernic baskets.

    Pattern plate advise

Def get someone competent to look at you on the pattern plate or shooting a straight away target. A lot of people pull the pattern left even with a perfect gunfit. It may have something to do with pulling the gun with their arms on a pattern plate in anticipation of the recoil. If you gun...

Shotgun Cartridge Price Increases - 7-12% From 22nd Febuary

It's been noted that while some people have struggled financially during the last year others have saved quite a bit. Some businesses are getting ready to make the most of this when it is unleashed. it expected prices will initially jump for lots of products  when the the pent up urge to spend...
