my barrels are like mirrors - just a good bit of elbow grease, and regular too, I clean my barrels after every shoot.

I just wear my glasses.. Not that im a pro or anything - or that im even able to afford the pillas - but I cant see what a pair of coloured lenses will do to make me any better at hitting the clays - if I get the opportunity to try them though - I certainly shall.

just keep paying little bits towards it - it shows you want it. They can keep it while your waiting.

Over the last few months of shooting I have tried multiple shells... I haven't noticed a massive difference in recoil or 'kill' rate. from hull compx 21g to other 28g carts. I seem to be settling on Hull Superfasts - 27g 7.5's 1500fps - The price is right I think.

I agree with MartynB - or rather that's my understanding from what I have read - Lead - clay grounds is a GO, but farmlands is a NO - Surely you'll want steel shot? Or is it copper coated?? I dont shoot wetland so not 100% but that's what I remember from what I read.. Anything on BASC?

Today I have been looking for shooting grounds where I will be holidaying - sadly though - the highlands seems very dry of clay grounds :cry:

My FAO told me not to pay any GP fee's and that it was illegal for them to charge. I wasn't asked anything in regards to my SGC by my GP - although I guess they wouldn't speak to me about it...

On one occasion whilst I was at a sporting targets, we had an amazing fly by - Im afraid I cant tell you what they were, but was great to see!

So I have been looking for shooting grounds up where we will be travelling - and it looks barren!!! Nothing, not a sausage!! Theres a shop along the route how ever - may have to pop in :cool:
