Sporting Shoots; where- and how was it? (2018)

With my current scores I don't think anyone has anything to worry about! 😉😂

Sporting Shoots; where- and how was it? (2018)

Cheers Rich, lovely to have your company. You're not kidding with the step count... An unusually high (for me) near 6,000 steps around that course certainly took its toll... Thank god for glucose tablets! 😉

    CPSA Level 1 Instructor Course

I have no experience of the CPSA courses but can vouch for the Lantra Shotgun Coaching Level 1 course; an intensive session but my facilitator Ann Litchfield was knowledgeable and informative, and the course covered everything you'd need to teach at a basic level.

    Blog for new shooters; Gungirluk.com

A new blog post has recently been  uploaded to Gun Girl UK; Shooting Etiquette - Getting Along In Clay Shooting.  Perhaps more contentious than my other posts; it's definitely a subjective matter, but some useful reminders in there, nevertheless! All comments welcome ...

Cheers Dr Lecter ? Very kind of you to say so. Hopefully it's useful to one or two; I'd be really chuffed if I could help others, after lots of people have helped me with my shooting. ?

    Blog for new shooters; Gungirluk.com

Hello new shooters! ?? I've recently created a new Web page/Blogging site called Gun Girl UK. It's written completely from my own perspective; aimed at bringing new people into clay shooting, and passing on tips to new shooters. I'm no expert by any means but I've been incredibly lucky to have...

Thank you Donna! Really appreciate the feedback and very happy to hear that you think women will relate to it too. ?

Sporting shoots. Where - and how did it go?

Awww thanks Rich! Anyone interested in this can find me at www.gungirluk.com. Not professing to know much; far from it! ? Totally written from my own novice perspective; it's designed at bringing new people into the sport, but might help the odd one or two. ? Thanks.

Sporting shoots. Where - and how did it go?

I realised afterwards that I'd misread how to tackle it, and was also looking at the wrong trap; didn't realise there were two with orange clays there next to each other! ?? Pretty chuffed with the 70 yard crossers; hit 4/8 of those tricky buggers! But yes, I agree a little too testing overall.

Sporting shoots. Where - and how did it go?

That makes 3 of us then as I didn't hit the orange on stand 1 either... Until I asked to try it after we'd finished,  and hit 2 of the bloody things consecutively! ?

Sporting shoots. Where - and how did it go?

That's very kind Rich, but I'm afraid it was a very average (for me) 63, and good job Mr J Hale hasn't seen you condemning me to a life sentence there; think he'd have a heart attack! ?

Sporting shoots. Where - and how did it go?

Thanks Rich, good day, if a little hot for me, and great company as always ? Made trickier with a bit of a dodgy trap... Tried starting on stand 1, but it was throwing a fair few no birds, so decided to move on and came back to it 2 hours later... Only to find it was still having a few issues...
