Looks like the cut-off for the men is going to be around 155 ? Best of luck to all still in contention of which there a lot

To win this event not only do you have to be a fantastic shot you have to get very lucky too, well I'm goosed on the former, and as for the latter if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.

    65mm cartridge in 70mm chamber?

Not all modern guns Crome plated and a lot of trap guns still 2.3/4 chambers

    65mm cartridge in 70mm chamber?

My 2 clay gun are 3in chambers so Iv no choice but use smaller cartridge, manufacturers must think it makes no difference or why put 3in chamber on a dedicated clay gun

Yes tinker I understand that but this is not like any other major competition, but in hindsight I think george had an off day looking at the scores on that layout I think he shot well below par today, he's left himself a mountain to climb but if anyone can it's him,

    ShootClay Squares - Dubai 2015

Sounds like a good trap shooter could do well on them fast sims

How is it the same for every one ? Same targets over all been shot yes, but mentally where you start is going to have a huge affect on confidence

Well done tinker bell. It don't seem fair the top shooting should all be shooting the same layout on the same day, it's far easier to gain some momentum starting on one of the softer layouts, Gabben 48 on L2. George 24 L4

    Cartridge choice

Yes ips it's only an opinion, as for who's right and who's wrong who knows, I will always shoot the maximum allowed, you wouldn't strap a 12 bore to a punt,
  15. G

    Cartridge choice

Ips a shot gun pattern is random at best, and 1000 shots will not reproduce a match, as for less shot In the pattern might just cause you to concentrate a little harder, I shoot better with tight chokes for that very reason
  16. G

    Cartridge choice

Ips I wasn't having a go, but from some one that is totally recoil insensitive I can't tell the difference between a 21g or a 32g I can not see an advantage in shooting a 24g, and maybe it's just me but I think recoil is in most people's head if I stamped 32g one 24g shell most would tell me...
  17. G

    Cartridge choice

24g might be enough to get the job done but to state they pattern better that a 28g is ridiculous
  18. G

    Cartridge choice

Sorry ips but how would lack of muzzle flip create better pattern bit of a contradiction
  19. G

    oh oh

Wonko your 100% correct shot guns haven't changed much in a very long time, unfortunately for the manufacturers shotguns last lifetimes so they have to keep reinventing the wheel
  20. G

    oh oh

All the above names don't count they all could win shooting a broom handle, I need a gun that would make me shoot like them and I found it. Still waiting for my permit tho.
