    Where to try....?

Budget wise if this helps, I tried a Miroku 3800, 28" barrels, excellent condition, grade 1, 1982 vintage, teague choked flush fitting. Asking price but willing to haggle 600. I had it for the 72 hrs and was going to haggle but when I went to pay, was offered a 2013 Miroku 38 sporter, 32"...

    Trigger adjustment

I must admit, its the first knurled trigger I've used. My last was a very worn fixed gold one. My SbS are smooth too. I've not checked the pull pressures yet as I'll need help and this week is not looking good.  I understand that new these guns come with 2 triggers so presume the previous...

    Trigger adjustment

Unfortunately they're practising firing at a spread plate from both ends and my daughter seems to want to join in.  Grandad to the rescue🤢🤮🤧🚑

    Trigger adjustment

I've moved the trigger forward and can't feel any sharp edges so it's a case of lead in the air and see. I was on for tomorrow but cancelled as my grandkids are poorly and they take priority.

    Trigger adjustment

Thanks, I'll look at that because mine is also a MK38. My sons skin is broken but mine is just sore bit like a bruise. Thanks, I'll do that. I didn't get both triggers with it, but if the move forward doesn't work I'll gladly try your triggers. Thanks for the offer. I'm hoping a coach will be...

    Trigger adjustment

Thanks everyone, I'll move it forward a touch and see how I go. I need it as right as poss for this weekend. I'm an invited guest on a very competitive normally members only shoot and don't want to disgrace myself in front of others on not only my first invite but my first competitive event. ...

    Trigger adjustment

I recently purchased a new (to me) gun. I fired around a slab the first week and a slab this last week. First week I didn't notice anything but yesterday my finger became sore, on the yellow mark below. My son fired around 100 through my gun and said his finger was destroyed.  He is a little...

    Service

So, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly happens in a service that you can't do yourself. My son was charged £80 for his serviced last year and the only thing I can work out is it was stripped and cleaned. He currently has a firing pin, trigger, or selector problem and was told it needed...

    Sheffield, heads up:

I don't do Facebook but just had a text, Sycamore is closed tomorrow 15th December. Partially due to high winds and snow, but also to theft of traps. That's the second shoot in this area that's had traps stolen recently.

    walk on the wild side

Something my wife taught me years ago. Don't buy thinking about PX value or what it might be worth later. Buy it, use it, enjoy it and should you ever part with it be happy you enjoyed it and had your money's worth. That way anything you do get back is a bonus not a right. I do it with...

    Christmas presents

My wife has just bought me an early present as I had to collect it myself, Miroku Mk 38 Sporter, absolutely mint, from 2013, looks like it's never been fired. How can I match that for her? I bought her a puppy for Christmas last year.

    armed police

I had a freshly commissioned gentleman officer with a degree in some sort of ology or other in my patrol, technically in charge as he out ranked me but told by the CO to shut up watch and learn. First I had to teach him the correct way to lace up boots without them coming constantly undone. When...

    Classification

I'm planning a trip to Skipton market for the Mrs so I'll try either Coniston or Kelbrook. It'll be nice to try another discipline, so I know what's what.👍

    Classification

I'm not a competitor in way shape or form, so my opinion doesn't mean much as I only follow these discussions to see what's happening in the big wide world.😁 But South Yorkshire,  trap? I shoot at 5 venues regularly, 2 others occasionally, to the best of my knowledge no where does trap.  I'd...

    Hand warmers

Aye, that looks like them. She said they came from a local cheap shop. Kept my hands warm when not on the gun all day. Got to be worth a look in the pound shop in passing. 👍

    Hand warmers

No idea of the make: It looks like a hot water bottle in a woolly cover. About the size of your palm. Clear gel with a metal clicker inside. Click the clicker 🙄 chemical reaction, super hot, stays hot from 10am yesterday, till long after I'd finished yesterday say 6pm when I got home. 5 mins...
