I too shot Barrow. Enjoyable and some of which I shot well and some sloppy ones which is so irritating.

Good afternoon of Fitasc today at Coleys. Layout 3 I messed up but overall happy with my shooting. Shot 50 then 30 mins break and then 50. Good varied targets with some biggies. Bonus seeing my brother Bryn during our break.

My prizes arrived today a glass plaque, Beretta Gamekeeper backpack, vouchers for 500 cartridges, Trackr Axil earmuffs. 2nd in Ladies and joint 4th in class.

Well you wouldn’t get me wanting too as they aren’t disciplines I particularly enjoy and I wonder how long we’ll even have those in the Olympics going forward.

And funnily enough you can shoot alongside our Olympians and multi multi world champions and they don’t concern themselves with whether you can hit a barn door or not. in fact I have never found them to be anything but encouraging.

I shot the prelim today badly but a few colours and those horrid high fence stands which I don’t like. Targets were fine. Lovely squad with 3 Americans including Nicholas Berry who shot very well. Sportrap and first Sporting tomorrow, I’ll be running between the two.

I found myself wishing I had changed my chokes and brought a lot of 9s. So hot as well.

Like to use both on any discipline I’m shooting.  Whatever feels comfortable sometimes both on the same stand.  Yes it probably costs me targets particularly gun up but it’s no longer about the score for me apologies to the competitive amongst us.
