I’ve never found any difference between 24grm and 28grm. If they can shoot the Olympic disciplines with 24 gram then DTL shouldn’t be a problem, the choice between plastic or fibre is down to you and the ground rules but for choice I would prefer plastic but have used fibre and not had any...
Good opportunity for the lawyers to make a few dollars, can’t see any chance of a court upholding Palinkas’s bullying tactics, ECHR will have a field day with this
I have been shooting a DT10 for the last 10 years, before that a Browning 525 , dabbled with a Perazzi , tried a Blazzer etc etc. and the SL2 is the best handling and well balanced gun I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting, yes it’s probably the heaviest gun I’ve ever shot but it doesn’t feel...
I have tried the SL2 they had a demo one close by so jumped at the chance to give it a try, have to say all the hype is valid, it is the very best gun I have used in 40+ years of experience, The recoil has been greatly reduced I even put some Gamebore Black Gold down the barrels and no muzzle...
There’s only one reason you miss , it’s because you put the shot in the wrong place, it doesn’t need 7 pages of bull to work that out… For the sake of everyone’s sanity please close this thread down
Yes, I would say it is, I’ve shot a DT 10 &11 and this SL2 is a lot better than either of the DT’s . The recoil or rather lack of it is the biggest thing I noticed and it handles so well I would have one in a heartbeat if I just had the money
Had a few shots with the new offering from Beretta at the weekend, the SL2 certainly looks a lot different to the rest of the Beretta stable, but have to say it does live up to all of the hype and claims regarding recoil and handling. It was a pleasure to shoot, no noticeable barrel flip, very...
You would like to think that a so called premier shooting ground with professional staff could put a course together that would be fair and not effected by weather conditions, from what I understand this is beyond the ability of Ian Coley shooting ground, Plus they can’t even publish the results...
Was given a couple of boxes of these , have to say thought they were pretty dam good, lovely and smooth great kills and clean. Was thinking about using them all the time until I saw the price.
Well it looks like this is a tough event, not often you see the like of Richard Foulds dropping 20 targets out of 67, and very good of George Digweed to post his score card with a complete blank on one stand. But not one of the competitors saying it’s too hard or stupid targets, perhaps there’s...
Yes I did it earlier this week, was definitely a good event, they have certainly put a load of work into getting that course set up. The whole thing ran very smoothly and the refs are ground staff were brilliant. Top marks to all involved
Surely the pattern thrown is a combination of choke and cartridge, so change one and you’ll get a different result. A choke that gives a reasonable half choke pattern with one brand of cartridge may not give the same result with another brand of cartridge.. Just find what gives you the best...
You worked for the wrong people then, I always stayed in the best hotels, ate at the best restaurants and traveled business class, 25 years of “ jolly” hard work 😉
Not sure why they need to have “all the CPSA staff located en-masse,”pretty sure that didn’t happen back in the 80’s and 90’s when I last did these events, 1 perhaps 2 max on the final day seems to be what I remember. What do they add to the shooters experience? Sounds more like a jolly that they...
