    Miroku v Guerini

The Miroku will never let you down, they have a proven record for reliability, my local gunsmith tells me he sees more CG’s with little faults than he does any other make. So for me, if looking to keep a gun for the foreseeable it would be the Miroku no question.

    Beretta purchase Holland &Holland

Just had email from Beretta to inform that they have purchased Holland & Holland including the shooting ground. Wonder what that will bring to the the shooting world. Hopefully lots of good things ?

None and simply because they would put the price up

    When

“Hope we can be out earlier than that Ive 2000+ carts that have to be used up before their “best before date” 😉” GlawsterCodger, I’ll buy them off you if you’re not going to use them before their “best before date”, and to be fair I’ll pay you 75% of what they cost you..  Cash is here waiting...

    694/Summit/Zenith

I would ask yourself “Am I going to keep this gun or am I going to change it within a couple of years?”  Assuming they all fit and feel balanced then the resale value is the only thing that will make a difference and the Beretta will hold its value better than the others.

    Covid tier system.

Just plead you thought the rules allowed you to be out shooting, they seem to be over complicated so an “honest” mistake.  One Scottish MP that travelled from one end of the country to the other and back again knowing that they had tested positive for the virus has still not been charged with...

Don’t see how this can be controlled or monitored.

    FLO visit or not??

But where in any legislation does it specify what type of bolts must be used?  As far as I am aware there are guidelines for security and each Police Force make their own view on the guidelines, yes I can see the requirements for inner city locations may be different from a more rural area. But...

    FLO visit or not??

I’ve had up to 7 guns in my 3 gun cabinet before now, admittedly I had to break them down, but I fail to see how a cabinet is safe for 4 guns but not deemed to be safe for 5, it’s not as if it comes unscrewed from the wall if you put another gun in it. As long as the door shuts and the lock...

    FLO visit or not??

I’ve never told my firearms officer of any of the changes, seem to get a different one every time they visit so reckon they wouldn’t know if I have changed the size of my cabinet or moved it from one room to another. As long as it’s fixed to the wall and all the guns match my licence they are...

Where I (would have) went today

If I come home after a shoot and play with the dog, the wife knows I had a good day, if I come in and send the dog to his bed she knows I didn’t do to good. Still waiting for the day I come in and send her to bed ......

    UK Gun Magazine Reviews

Wynno, I agree but think it’s more like 30 years, according to Vic every gun he has reviewed is good value for money. I understand he gets paid to write the review and can only assume that he doesn’t want to offend the gun makers but he could be a little more honest

    Sporting Shoots 2020

Shatterford today, after family visit. I understand this was the first shoot at this ground. Good layout but we did have more than enough no birds, Think I will be visiting the family more often and returning to this shoot.  No idea what scores were today but very enjoyable 👍

    Sporting Shoots 2020

Also managed to get to Longridge today first time for me. Very impressed with the targets there, if this is now the standard of CPSA shoots I might consider rejoining but guess there not all as well run and interesting as this was. Great bacon rolls was an added bonus

    Shatterford shooting ground

Looks like a nice piece of ground with potential for some great targets, still lots of work to be done. Good luck 👍

    Fiocchi Fblack vs Official

I have heard that some have had misfires with the LiteSpeed, but from my own experience I have shot 4 thousand this year and not had one so for me they are still my preferred shell, and the price is a major plus
