Sporting shoots. Where - and how did it go?

Purbeck today, 100 bird registered ESP. The weather was absolutely fine before we started , a nice crisp day with clouds and blue sky and all that just up to the point where we headed off to the first stand. I approached this shoot with happy confidence, having made good progress in practice...

    Changed again

I can't help wondering if those who find a Blaser a bit light might profit from enquiring of the owners what weights were in place, as one feature of these guns is a set of weights in the stock and under the fore-end which can be omitted or added or twiddled with at will. As to the perceived...

    Changed again

I hope you enjoy your Blaser as much as I'm enjoying mine. Congratulations on your purchase!

should i return this new Browning 725 ?

Wonko I think the dealer may have come to his senses when he realised the video was rather public. Didn't the OP mention YouTube? That may be "oh dear I can't get away with it" rather than integrity!

    Trap Cartridge barrel swap

Good grief, man, you mean if they do that they can actually fly?

should i return this new Browning 725 ?

I strongly believe that the dealer (I can't be alone in wondering who it is!) should be instantly offering a full refund. Either the whole deal "unwound" with your guns returned, cash returned, and all paperwork dealt with, or if he's sold the part-exchanged items then a refund at full rrp. An...

should i return this new Browning 725 ?

Did you actually take the gun back to demonstrate the problem? That is not normal, and it's not acceptable. It may well be worth asking them to confirm that they are a genuine authorised dealer.

    new firearm legislation

N Loving it! I have been going through a bit of a dip - or rather plummet - in performance this past couple of weeks. That's been more to do with thinking about my new toy rather than the job in hand, with predictable downward pressure on scores. I'm getting used to it now, and the "new gun...

New 725 black mid bead issue.

It's a manufacturing fault. It's part of a gun where accuracy may be compromised. It's a gun built for competition. Not at all silly to take it back. In fact it would be silly not to.

CPSA Fixtures Database & Pull Fixtures List

The whole CPSA web site is poor in my view. It gets easier with practice, but it's hardly intuitive. Looking for fixtures isn't easy, and the region/county borders become a bit of a pain. Perhaps if the site is ever redesigned it could incorporate a "within x miles" filter as found on so many...

    Laser treatment

I suspect there's more to it than a quick zap, hand over your credit card and all your vision problems have disappeared! A consultation with Ed Lyons is absolutely the best idea.  Ordinary opticians aren't the ones to listen to when you're talking about the issues surrounding vision and clay...

Well - someone has picked a side...

Insured or not, no matter who may or not be fibbing, litigation should be a measure of last resort in rare and exceptional circumstances. It should not be a habit.

Well - someone has picked a side...

Of course, I must bear in mind that I have not heard the other side of the story. I don't count the bizarre statement from the CPSA on the club web site as being useful.
