    Gun reviews on youtube

While disappointing in my Miroku through 3/8 Teague at 20m: I find them very useful in my 725 ProTrap - through factory DS 3/4 chokes at the same distance (20m):

Looking for Browning B725 Pro left-hand Stock

Thanks to all that reached out - let me just clear things up - I am looking for the stock only not the entire gun.

Looking for Browning B725 Pro left-hand Stock

I am looking for Browning B725 Pro (Trap or Sport, adjustable or nonadjustable) left-hand stock, that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. If anybody has or knows about one please let me know.

    9 shot.

My friend is shooting 90% of compak layouts with 24g No 9 skeet loads and must admit, he does it very well. As for myself - I truly believe that 9's have a magic spell on them minis and I always carry some of them just for the cause.

looking forward to it. Oh and if you decide to drop 3/4 I'd be more than happy to take it 😊

    Browning DS Chokes....Hmmmmmm

Geordieboy see this: Invector DS Choke Pattern Pictures ...to add some sice my last post in the above thread - 3/4 (0.15)  is my "go-to" choke - either combined as a 2nd barrel choke on compak layouts, or 1 st barrel on Fitasc combined with LF (.026) and for Trap with eithe LF or F (0.038)...

Do snap caps actually prevent damage?

Now you lot got me go and read the Browning manual...nothing there on dry firing, so shouldn't be a big deal...still, since my 725 has sort of mechanical triggers that go "bang-bang" I do have and use snap caps on odd occasion - at home, where (at home) they are destined to stay for good.

    piston wadded cartridges

If we are referring to piston that is used in Hull (Pro piston), Cheddite (Free Shots), Fiocchi (F3 Bior): ...piston wad sports a "skirt" (under) and a "cup" (over). - Skirt should seal the gasses in backbored barrels better than fibre - Cup holds some shot that should serve as a wedge that...

    Widest patterning cartridge?

Clever T2 2.3mm - at 20m through 3/8 - beats even their Bior version through my gun:

Looking for opinions on two Brownings.

You are correct - 525 (2015) with regular stainless steel chokes is "steel proofed". XS pro is a 2018 model and the gun itself is fine with steel, but it comes with titanium chokes, that (I guess) are not supposed to be used for steel shot... It is an easy fix tho - for shooting steel you just...

Looking for opinions on two Brownings.

Pay attention to differences and see if those mean anything to you: - Chambers: XS pro is chambered 12/76mm, 725 pro is 12/70mm - Chokes: XS pro has Invector + (titanium - that is good since those are lighter than steel - BUT - I believe you can't shoot steel cartridges through them?), 725...

24g instead of 28g to learn?

Hamster pretty said it all. By all means go the 24g route but stay true - beware tho, you will be hard tempted to look over to 28g when things won't go as expected - once you do, 24g is history 😊

    Breathing

Couple slow, deep, inhale through nose and exhale through mouth serves me well as a relaxing technique just before competition round + fills the blood with more O2 that has more benefits down the road.

    Teague equivalent

Good, then get back and let us know how it went. It is always nice to know if thread was of any (good) use.

    Teague equivalent

    Browning factory DS measurements: 1/2 = 0.009 I don't have 5/8 measurement, but 3/4 = 0.015 (some measurements mentioning 0.012) - therefore 5/8 should be app. 0.010 - 0.012 Accordingly Teague 0.020 is somewhere between Browning 3/4 and LF (light full - 0.026) and 0.025 is Browning LF...
