New Berretta a400 xcel sporter gray

I bought the Blue one a few years ago, I just cleaned all the packing grease off it then just racked the action backwards and forwards with an empty gun for about 5 mins. No problems at all and I only ever used 24gm through it. I don't think that clay grounds will be happy with 32gm cartridges...

    Hull Sporting 100 variance

Many years ago I shot Hull cartridges, DTL 300 I think they were called we called them "pinks". Very soft to shoot and good kills, then Hull changed the recipe. Terrible to shoot from a recoil perspective, they did the same with Pro Fibre. I've never used Hull for the past twenty years. I find...

    Hull Sporting 100 variance

Hi Will, watch this video, especially at 10.00 mins, they say that every Pro One is loaded the same. https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/E6763Oiqx78?feature=oembed Wrong shell, I did not realise there was one with the name Sporting 😲

Coaches / Instructors what is a “fair” rate

I remember him coaching a very young Brett Winstanley at Westlands years ago.

    Different shells for practice?

I've shot 24gm Eley Select for a few years now, very good at all ranges with the appropriate choke fitted.

    Shooting after cataract surgery.

I had both eyes done a few years ago, no problems at all just give it time to notice the difference. You will be able to see everything 😃

    Browning trap 1

I've shot one and found it a very shootable gun it shot where I looked to be honest. Adjustable trigger is a plus and the stock makes it a good all round gun Four chokes included. Premier guns have a video on You tube on the Trap one, they liked it.

    Amber Hill.

I watched it too, Amber is still young compared to the other shooters, a joy to watch.

    A1 shooting ground.

I live in the Lake District and when I started shooting in the 1980's most villages used to have a couple of traps and put small shoots on for the locals. I think there is just one left now, mostly due to off comers buying property 🤕

Was the stock loose on the F16?

    Recoil problem

My mate the lady, went to Midland Gun Services to have a stock made to fit her F3 it took two trips, one for having a stock made to fit her while she was there and the second visit was to pick the finished stock up and check that everything was spot on. Quite a bit of time was spent shooting at...

    Genuine question

Motivation or a lack of it will make a massive difference of how well you shoot, that's supposing you can shoot well.😀

    Recoil problem

Probably, but I know a few shooter like the punch of a "fast" cartridge, I cannot understand why. One of my mates is a girl who shoots an F3, until she had a stock made to for her she used to get her cheek thumped a bit, £1500 later job sorted.

    Recoil problem

At my age I need a soft shell and they are not sh*t, try some.🙂

    Recoil problem

If you go on Hull cartridge web site and look at the specifications they all have a fair bit of recoil. Eley Select are a good load in 24gm either fibre or plastic. I used to shoot an F3 and found that the recoil was not pleasant at all.

Best semi auto for sporting clays

That's just and old bag 😄 Semi- auto are dinosours in Trap shooting now. When I started shooting an awful lot of Remington 1100's were used by a lot of good shot's because compared to a decent O/U they were cheap and Hull Cartridge were very good at looking after their customers. 32gm was the...

Best semi auto for sporting clays

I believe that shell catchers for sale just catch one empty cartridge, not much good over here.
