It amazes me why chatting in the background upsets some shooters I mean there's multiple guns going off at 140+ decibels and there wearing ear defenders !, they should practice their concentration techniques, I hope these people never take up professional darts they'll no what background noise...

Personally I'd take the stock off and have a look, I suspect the selector is gummed up with old oil and a spray of cleaner might do the trick 👍

I use the Napier 2 piece one but found it a little short for 32" so got an extension piece from ant supplies now perfect length 

Think you've got to use their cartridges due to noise restrictions, now owned by Avalon guns I believe, good gun shop though 👍

I find with my complicated prescription inserts or prescription glasses don't work so I use contact lenses to take up the bulk of the prescription and use glasses to bring it up to perfection, had a long conversation with the guy at jhs eyewear and came up with that solution, so that's one...

Make sure you don't hang on to it to long and run out of movement thus stopping the gun 👍

You need to pattern your gun with the cartridges you use at the distance you will be shooting at then you can decide which chokes to use, different guns pattern differently as will different cartridges hope this helps 👍

If the name is genuinely losing sponsorship then I've got no problem with it, the clays won't care and it won't affect my shooting 👍

Interesting, at one of the auto shoots at barbury a good shot hit his last bird quickly and a split second later the ref called no bird and docked him a target instead of pair again and this was an experienced ref, the ref claimed that because he shot at it it was lost, a few of the squad...

Also pre mounting the gun as in trap shooting will help if you are lifting your head 👍

I had a field model and found the stock a bit chunky compared to the sporter imported by gmk, it is simple to remove the auto safe on these guns just a link in the action, the sporter should have a wider rib about 10mm if i remember correctly 

I didn't mention in ear protection because you wanted info on over ear protection, I highly recommend cfg digital's but I only use them in warmer weather as I don't like cold ears 👍

I use sportacs in winter and haven't seen any need to upgrade batteries last a couple of years they fit me well even with glasses
