I use the one above but only at home, I assumed the OP wanted one to put scores in on the way round, I make a note on paper or photo the score sheet afterwards then enter the scores later
One complaint I've heard of is the fact that strong winds blew it over, I'm surprised that more people don't use a modified golf trolley especially if they have bad backs
Sounds like a good compromise on the surface but having had dealings with the hse in the past I suspect they will err on the side of caution and ban all use of lead in shooting
Worn blacking on the action makes the gun look like it's been well used and will probably affect resale value hence I always go for silver actions, just look at an old 425 gti some look like they've shot a billion rounds, good guns though 👍
Have a look at a company called wested their one is very heavy duty with real leather patches as long as you like black, I've had mine for 10 years and still going strong I'm an XL and it is a true size, they also do an all leather one if you're into that sort of thing 👍
Glad you enjoyed your day, as your learning stick to your technique don't fall into the trap of hitting the clay at all costs as in time it will pay dividends 👍
Personally I don't worry about a few streaks in front of the forcing cones, I've polished them out before now and after the next shoot there back so I just leave them I do use fibre wad cartridges though
I think you need to spend a little time on the pattern plate just to put your mind at rest, you don't want to have any doubts creeping into your mind 👍
All I've got is a cleaning rod, bronze brush, spray bore cleaner, kitchen roll, small pot of grease and an oily rag nothing posh does the job a goodun 👍
