    Beretta unveiling... something?

    It might be this..

    take a look !

There seems to be a lot of close stuff thrown due to ground size constraints and the odd ridiculous fast long distant edge on bird, his point about longer targets that show a good amount of face and therefore are breakable is spot on.

    Laser Sighter

Get yourself one of these, comes with bits to center in the barrel and only illuminates when you touch the trigger and complete the circuit. I had a feeling one of my guns had a barrel problem, breaks were inconsistent and sometimes missing targets even though the site pictures felt right, found...

Sporting Shoots 2021. Reports and discussion.

Went to West Kent for some practice, 3rd time out with a new gun so didn't expect miracles. Thought I would be behind everything, instead found myself over leading and had to force myself to start shooting at stuff. I have definitely shot too much DTL lately, I kept subconsciously shooting every...

    New guy here

Hi Moffett. I am one of the old guys who can't hit a clay.

    Oh, how I wish...

I have contacted politicians on various subjects over the years and always got the usual cut and paste answers, short of pissing in their letterbox or running them over with your car I fear you will surely be disappointed.😠

    Oh, how I wish...

I am in the same position as you are, asthmatic from birth and have nearly died twice. I too take a preventative twice a day and can remember when salbutamol inhalers didn't exist ( what a literal life saver they are) . I was contacted to have the vaccine yesterday so hope may be on the horizon...

    Any vegetarian shooters?

For God's sake let's all be polite and helpful to all new potential shooters, safety in numbers and all that. More Lady shooters would be a gift compared to the boring old man sausage fest I have witnessed for many years.😂😂😂😂😂😂

When you let your Mrs shoot your peg

I try to leave mine in a field all the time, but somehow she always finds her way home.

Questions regarding the rising cost of shooting

I remember the early 2000's when they blamed the rise in cartridge prices on the Chinese buying metals to build their Olympic stadiums, prices jumped by £50.

    gun fit ?

I have watched him a few times, I find his whole routine fascinating and uncomfortable to watch at the same time. I had a gun with too low a comb and trying to place the butt in the right place without the cheek connection was always hit and miss.

    Better or Worse?

Nevermind the chokes, if you are chipping them, just load one cartridge and then you have to make the shot count, I find this sharpens me up when I'm slipping at DTL.

    694/Summit/Zenith

I have shouldered the Zenith and I must admit I liked it, very low profile action and a feeling of solidity, felt like a good solid gun, but as for longevity time will tell. As for Beretta, I have recently bought a 682 Gold e because I missed my old one so much, read into that what you will. 😉🤔😊

    Another shooting ground closes.

Thieving *******s broke into an underground car park at work and cut out the main earth cable from the transformer to the switch room, about 70mtrs. We replaced it and added more security cameras, they tried again this time only to get caught red handed, I did enjoy the look on their faces when...

    694/Summit/Zenith

I have had a Summit Ascent since 2014, gun has good trigger pulls and very little recoil and with an adjustable comb I can get a good fit. No problems with the gun so far, still got a few years of warranty left (10 years) from new.

Shoot of my life (A lockdown time filler)

Caterham was my baptism of fire. Never shot in so much mud whilst clinging to the side of a valley. The stand in the car park was brilliant, felt like you were just throwing lead into an abyss, and yet I still managed to hit some.

    Trap and/versus Sporting barrels.

One slip and that rib is going to end up in his eye.😅
