    Stand 9 Horne today.

I get the feeling they set it up to make refilling the traps easier instead of varied presentations. A battue or a rocket wouldn't hurt would it?

    Stand 9 Horne today.

If you shot the left one first the second bird was dropping quite quickly. Lots of head scratching going on including me.

    Barrels in your loft?

I have absolutely no idea why you are troubling your mind with such vagaries regards to barrel convergence. pick a gun up and shoot it until it you can hit clays in all four planes of trajectory. The only convergence you need to take note of is the pattern of lead and the clay. Just to muddy...

Gun woes, Choke woes just general woes

I am positively paranoid about loose chokes and like some have said constantly checking when shooting. My new gun came with a interference fit choke key and the little bit of extra leverage has nearly eliminated loose chokes, still check like a paranoid twiddler.

I have bought a new gun

I agree with you about the rib you know its there but unobtrusive. I bought the same gun last year and as a fan of beretta guns it was a leap of faith one i am now glad i made. The only change i made was a trap forend as i find them more comfortable. Nice guns.

    692 and GMK

Yes Les i fancied a change and had hoped Beretta were going to produce a modern equivalent of the 682x so i bought a Summit ascent which has a fixed slightly raised rib. As for longevity or better Built than a Beretta i don't know yet, everything seems and feels well built with no real drawbacks...

    692 and GMK

I sold my Beretta 682 gold E with some trepidation as it had never let me down or had a fault that needed rectifying. I bought a CG in the end as the problems with new Beretta guns had put me off and they didn't make the style i was after. Damn shame as I'm a Beretta man really.

Nicknames Glasgow Characters (I dont know if this true)

Another guy i worked with was called "TIMESHARE" i naively thought because he owned a holiday home. Not so turns out he was a bit thick and they said he shar ed his braincells with someone else and it was never his month to have them. His alternate nickname was "LOGGO" as in as thick as.:P
