I think generally speaking the main brands are probably most widely available....Hull,    Eley, Gamebore etc.... If you’re shooting the odd straw bailer it’ll probably be fibre, Ive recently been using Eley 1st/Select 28g 8’s and been really surprised at how decent they are for the money.

Bought one today in 32”.....it’s jolly nice.  I had a new 692 when it came out but swapped that for an Invictus which I’ve been very happy with, but I picked up the 694 today and it felt great, plus they gave me a decent part ex on my CG so it was worth a punt   In terms of ‘feel’ it’s beefier...

Very happy with my Invictus M Spec, had it over 2 years now...never missed a beat and still looks pretty much new.  Lee - what model is that.....think I saw Nick Hendrick using the same gun on Sunday.  It’s very pretty.

I know I’m not good enough to notice the difference....I seem to have good and bad days with both plastic and fibre in equal measure.  I can see both Brexit and reduction I’m the use of single use plastics having an impact on cartridge prices imminently....any old excuse is often enough.

Looking good....keep us posted! I guess us ‘public’ can only buy components at ‘retail’ prices with the relevant markup rather than buying bulk components at wholesale or cost prices as the brands would? I imagine there will be something very satisfying about making your own 👍

I do wonder what percentage of people who are happy to berate any product have actually spent ‘real’ time with the item they are so quick to dismiss? I really can’t comment on Browning as they don’t feel right to me so I’ve never bought one...but if my personal experience is anything to go by...
