Good idea, it should also be quite lucrative too.

I had an advert that was wrong and in the format it appeared it would have been near impossible to find it on a general search. I logged on and tried to amend it but it was impossible (the old site let you make amendments). I emailed them without response. I phoned several times many times they...

    ClayMate on Solo

I have never had a problem with this , I find I have loads of time. Sometimes I have pressed the button and not realised the solo delay was not activated. I have then just done a reflex shot and more often than not hit the clay. I am not a good shot, far from it.

    Cabinet inspection ?

When I initially applied for a certificate I did not have a cabinet. I told the officer it seemed pointless buying one before I got a certificate. He agreed and told me my certificate would provisionally granted on the condition I acquired one. I obviously bought and fitted one, he turned up...

    Gun Trader new website 😩😩😩

It appears they are oblivious to the absolute garbage update. It has been well over a week now and they are stubbornly sticking with it.

East Yorkshire shooting ground to close

Heard they have found a new guy to take over the running of the ground after Rob leaves at the end of this month. Great news as it would be a shame to lose such a good ground to the sport.

Local Ground For Local People 🤣

I totally understand why Sunday mornings became the favourite option. Many grounds must have their origins back in the 80's or so. Back then, shops were shut, very little else going on and society was different in working practices. However today everything is different, there are so many other...

Local Ground For Local People 🤣

Why not concentrate on Saturday and forget Sunday then. Round me there must be at least six grounds open on a Sunday, I don't shoot at any. However I travel far and wide at least 3 days per week to shoot at a variety of other grounds on different days.

    Rule changes

Fair point, but brains also learn things as they go along. What happens when your brain learns that releasing the trigger gives you recoil, do you go back to a normal gun

Local Ground For Local People 🤣

One thing all these little grounds seem to have in common is that they believe shooters come out of hibernation at 10am Sunday morning and then by 1pm disappear once more, till the following week The shooting fraternity has got much older and there are many retired around, plus many of the...

    Fibre Wad or Choke change?

I have had a couple of old miroku 3800 and both of them shot far better even patterns with fibre compared to many more modern guns. Back bored guns are far from ideal if you are using fibre in my opinion.

Hi Guys Looking for a gun stock specialist or general gun Smith to make me a new comb for an adjustable stock. I need it to be made special dimensions as a standard factory replacement would not be suitable. Preferably in the Yorkshire area or North England. Can any help with recommendations...

    Fashionable skeet gun

Hi guys, Shot a couple of lines of skeet other week just for fun. Really enjoyed it and definitely going to start doing more. However I seem to remember back in the day short barrels were in vogue. Just wondering what seems to be the most popular gun type these days and what models are...

Just been on their website, their Fiocchi range are a very good price. If I lived locally I would be stocking up there with F Blacks and F blues

    Higher visibility front beads ?

Personally, I prefer the small red bead to white. I once tried those long day glow beads but didn't get on with them
