Where do you draw the line?

Canterbury are £26 or £28 per hundred practice... It’s been that long now, I can’t remember exactly!

Cabinet fitting - Is this ok?

Great! + 1 for the fitting... upside down for door access and cut out skirting (even removed the plasterboard and sunk into wall). Mrs Flintstone said it ‘looks tidy’ once I’d finished, and that’s better than any FLO opinion 😂. Oh, and the screw holes that your left with on the top (what was...

    Oh, how I wish...

Well, just heard from my coach... lessons restart on the 30th, and club opens on 3rd and 4th (weekend shoot). Now if only I could remember where I put my gun and kit...! 🤣

Shotgun Cartridge Price Increases - 7-12% From 22nd Febuary

200 birds a week... Wish I could afford that! 🤪

Shotgun Cartridge Price Increases - 7-12% From 22nd Febuary

But I guess everything only ever goes up, right?!? I mean, I’ve been posting letters for the last 30 years, but the cost of a stamp never goes down. And don’t get me started on driving! The thing is, I still post things, and still drive a car, as my wages went up also (thankfully!) I think...

    Brexit!

Given the recent posts this week about the cost of cartridges, and the subsequent discussion about Brexit... this tickled me!

Shotgun Cartridge Price Increases - 7-12% From 22nd Febuary

There is a ‘genuine’ addition to most items that are moved between borders now, and that is in the freight costs. Hauliers have to have certain additional paperwork when moving between EU and UK, and they have to be completed by an ‘agent’ (cost), as well as the truck itself now having to...

Late to the party, but hi Mitch! Welcome.

    Oh, how I wish...

likewise... I think though this time (as we have gotten used to lockdowns), I was resigned to the fact that it would be a couple of months and kind of simply got on with other things after the initial ‘good clean’ of the gun, and not given it another thought. In fact, I’ve only opened my cabinet...

Lockdown day... oh, I’ve lost count already

A little game to pass the time today... Can you find Wally?

    Hi

Hi Steve, Welcome to the friendly bunch.  Weird sometimes... but always friendly 🤪😂😂👍

A bit of fun... virtual sweepstake/poll for the restart of shooting in England...

...I’m sticking with mid-March as my prediction for getting out to at least practice.. i.e. grounds open and triggers being pulled. Competitions will be some time after that of course.

Bet ya wished ya had one of these...!

That is the most likely explanation to be fair 👍

Bet ya wished ya had one of these...!

I reckon it’s something home-built following Russian Blue Peter, from 2 egg boxes and a washing up liquid bottle, held together with wood screws and glue, and a healthy dose of ‘cold start’ squirted down the barrel myself 😂

    Oh, how I wish...

The lockdown is to reduce the R number and get the NHS out of the emergency situation it finds itself in (due to Covidiots)... we won’t be in a full lockdown for the entire vaccination process. We’ll drop back into tiers once the R reduces again and hospitals can cope. 👍

    Oh, how I wish...

+ 1. I’ll have a quid in the virtual sweepstake for ‘we will be shooting by...March’
