Would agree,and no one is wrong in their choice if they`re happy with it! Have found 5`s have worked better than anything in a selection of 20`s that I`ve owned despite being less than optimal in theory...

Used those Cheddite 24 grm for partridge shooting...very effective.

Was given a few Eley CT by a friend and was so impressed I`ve used them ever since for clays.Really good ,smooth shell,ideal in lighter 20`s.

Asking a lot for anyone to pay for birds and the associated husbandry costs in the hope that someone will be able to shoot in a few months time.Small numbers possibly but commercial scale I`d doubt it`ll happen now.Game rearers are canvassing opinion at the moment from what I`ve heard.

Well it`s over now,seems to have raced by too ! Personally had some lovely days,none of which were spoiled by rain !!! I`ve spoken to a good few folks who have had their season spoiled by flooding and rainfall ,so feel lucky .

i`d rather use lighter cartridges than butcher another good gun ! Seems to be the national pastime nowadays......
