694 wood is pot luck, I’ve seen some great and some below mediocre…. One side of mine is quite nice. The other a bit plain tbh. However , I bought it for the barrel tech so the wood isn’t hugely relevant.

Extensive research and product testing and design are alos expesnive commodities. I love the SL2 and would own one if I had the cash. I think its a stunning and modern gun, and for a very small uplift, you can go to the factory and choose the wood and have a custom stock as I understand it...

That’s great , don’t know why Beretta only did 3/8 in black, seems a popular choke these days…. I’m in Cornwll this week, but back home at the weekend. I’d like to take the offer of delivery, when that suits you….

Looking for a genuine Beretta Optima HP 3/8 to match the factory chokes in the 694. I believe this is only available in DLC Black, but WHY?..

The above ground has announced it will close next month, despite strong support from the local gun shop. It was great little shoot and I’m sad for all involved tbh.

Freddy, I wear Photochromic daily as well, and my eyes seem to be changing (for the worst !) quicker than Id like, so longevity inst my worry. I think my main concern is that on bright days, they wont really offer the best of the purple, as in my experience, they go dark in quite early stages...

After researching the crap out of this subject, I have decided to go with the JHS Zs specs…. My prescription prevents a lot of the other alternatives, and I really don’t want to spend Pilla money . My question really is whether to go single tint medium purple or go the photochromic purple...
