    Dirty ends!

I bought a couple of the toe rests, superbly made in loveely rich brown leather BUT despite the polo mint ring to keep the barrel from sliding off, they were so highly polished that I was constantly moving the barrels back into place, they were also about 10mm thick which didn't allow them to...

    Just started my journey

This is not the best place to find live woodpigeon shooting near you. It is possibly worth joining some of the facebook groups but in all honesty, you have to put in the miles and countless hours chatting to farmers where pigeon are proving to be a pest. Good luck as there will be a vast...

    Ragley hall gamefair

I have not been since covid outbreak but I do like this venue, we normally stay in a hotel for a couple of nights which is only 15mins drive away in nice rural setting so making the whole weekend a bit of a break. I did intend going this year and for the first time, didn't buy advance tickets...

    Country Cover Club Insurance

Yes me too, it appears that as the leading company for legal cover, they now are rethinking it, well well now there is a surprise, after all they are an insurance company and with so many people losing their tickets, the demand for legal cover is getting higher and they will not want to offer...

Zoli Vs Rizzini Vs Beretta Vs Caesar Guerini

I would not have thought Rizzini was not in the same league as the others but both that and the Zoli despite it being a quality bit of kit will lose loads of money with far less people being interested in them in the s/h market. If you like the CG, why not look at a flat rib.

I thought he owned Premier Guns.

    Yildiz Pro Black Sporter

It is without doubt, a gun, like others that will lose money, Zoli is another example yet a good quality gun, in fact I have my eye on one in the rfd at the moment for £200 just as a hide gun..................... I digress. It is not uncommon to have a tight action on a number of guns and as...

    694 users

I tend to use 1/4 and 3/8 for most targets and as for cartridges, Eley Superb 9 for as much as I can and 7 1/2 for everything else. I am thinking of switching to 1/2 & 1/2 as I tried it a few weeks ago and it seemed to work well but still the same selection of shells.

    Bore solvents and gun cleaners?

I call into a real old fashioned gunsmith in Halesworth, Suffolk where guns are worked on in front of you and the one product you see (in fact there are usually 3 or 4 cans on the bench) is Garlands solvent cleaner, I buy half a dozen every time I go to Suffolk as my pals also love the stuff and...

Bend it or make it adjustable?

I have seen and used a coule of guns with adjustable stocks done by Doveridge Premier guns, superb in my humble opinion. I have also known others who used them, never heard a single bad word said for the work done. Never come across the other guy Ben suggested but I am sure he does a good job...

Well at least you have Cocketts not so far away offering some seriously good targets.

Orston shooting ground up for sale

Too much money spend on the clubhouse and nothing on the shooting, one of the worst grounds I have been to.

    Repairing new shotgun

Is the work covered by any warranty from the dealer, I take it that the gun is s/h so no manufacturers warranty. Phil
