I am pleased you got the gun sorted and in my opinion you are lucky to have a GUNSMITH who can be trusted to carry out the work, for me the nearest gunsmith is Derek Lee, 1.5 hours away. Phil

I have only had one gun with 32'' barrels and that was my DT10 so I cannot give chapter and verse when my experience is restricted. One thing I can say is that almost straight away, I loved the swing I seemed to have compared to other 30'' guns I had owned but perhaps this was in the mind...

Thank Will, a very valid point which I was not taking into account. I should also think about balance as I prefer my gun to be slightly stock heavy,, it seems to suit me more.

I have said for a little while that I miss my 32'' barrels on my old DT10 switching to 30'' on my CG which has been fine, perhaps making me shoot a bit quicker but the steadyness of the 32'' is noticeable. Now we are looking at Perazzi with 30 3/4'' and Beretta offering 31'' for both the DT11...

Colin, you are absolutely right, my mistake.

I believe Hoppe's do a metal cleaner but you would need to speak to Edgar Brothers as to what is available as stock can be an issue with Hoppe's.  Garlands solvent cleaner is brilliant, I was put onto this product by good old fashioned gunsmiths, it is what they use and whilst it is for cleaning...

I popped into my rfd the other day and whilst in there a chap came in to look at a 20g Yildiz and as it was quite busy, I got the keys and took out the said gun BUT while the chap was looking at the little 20, my eye caught another which I took out, it looks like a perazzi but I am sure it does...

Is it not the end of my world if they stay on, just thought it was strange for them to display actually in among the index, all forums have adverts top and bottom which is great but this was a bit strange, no big deal. Phil
