Hawke Scopes - Brilliant Customer Service

Same with Vortex optics. It died after 500 shots being mounted on a springer air rifle. They sent me a new one and confirmed once more that I should just be able to use it on any springer.

Browning 725 pro sport vs Miroku mk38

That sounds good Luke. I know someone with an older beretta skeet gun. I think form the same series. Very nice gun.

Browning 725 pro sport vs Miroku mk38

I shot it last Saturday (amongst the other guns to pick which one to buy). I went back to the grounds on Sunday to really shoot it. And tomorrow I will shoot it again.  It took me some time to get used to shouldering it. The school gun that I Have been using for the last few months was much too...

    Blaser F16

I tried a 725 Prosport, way to bulky for me! I was very much in the dark in the beginning about what gun I should buy. I did go to a clay ground / shooting school on a weekly basis for a couple of months. Tried many guns in the rack. Tried many guns of fellow shooters. Got many lessons. That all...

    Blaser F16

It al comes down to personal preference. I tried a dozen different Beretta's. The only one that I liked was the DT11. My luck... I love the old Miroku guns that are low in the comb/ tall action. I tried 725 with a somewhat lower action and ended up buying a 525 with a lovely tall clumsy action...

Browning 725 pro sport vs Miroku mk38

I tried a 725 prosport as well. But for me the dimensions of the stock are too bulky.

So I ended up buying a Browning B525 Ultra XS Pro... very happy with the gun! It seemed to fit me right out of the box.

    Clay Pigeon Routine

Shooting lots of Skeet has definitely helped me a lot to be a much better sporting clays shooter. Just get someone, instructor/ experienced shooter, tot help you. I think usually they will let you shoot at the incoming targets first. Later also on the going away targets. Then also pairs.

    gun fit ?

I was told that you can not bend a stock with adj. comb as much as one without because of the extra metal in the wood. Wonder if that is really a thing to consider or not?

Sorry, I meant to quote Freddypip in my last post: I am also looking at the 44CMX. Would you pick the 52CHC over the 44CMX for shooting on an average weather day?

How do you like the lenses that you got Luke? I was advised to go for 10CED, 92CHCL and 52CHC. Too many to pick from....

I guess then we are a 2 hour drive apart. Perhaps once I have my own gun and all the permits sorted. (gun already on order for a few months)

I was right in the middle, both length and weight wise. So I replied with my length weight and a photo of my face. I think that my appearance made them decide X6 was the way to go. 😆 I haven't really looked into the lenses yet. Is going to be difficult to pick a good set I think. I will need...
