Zoli Vs Rizzini Vs Beretta Vs Caesar Guerini

I've no idea of your experience level, or preferences, but every single one of those guns on the list is capable to breaking clays. You'll not go wrong with any one of them, but do try them all to see what 'fits best'. If you're interested in the Rizzini drop me a PM and I'd be happy to chat...

Sporting shoots 2023. How was it?

Yes, I believe they are squadded again this year. I'll pass on the feedback about the website, quite important to know.

Sporting shoots 2023. How was it?

Honesberie have released their shoot dates. In 2023, Honesberie Shooting are running a series of CPSA Registered shoots which will consist of 100 sporting clay targets. At these competitions there will also be a pool shoot which is open to everybody. Please refer to the column on the right...

Sporting shoots 2023. How was it?

It was good to see you, Will, albeit briefly!  I had a fairly tidy card (6 away I think) until stand 11. Stand 11 looks out over a rolling field where the line of the clay is always so important. I've been caught out there a few times so went in first on the squad, with no-one to watch. I ended...

    Rizzini Durability

My first time back on the forum this year so I missed this.  I've had my S2000 for 5 years now, north of 40k shells and no problems to report. I can only speak from my own experiences but I had a Browning 525 before and I could barely open it at times due to the top lever, then a 725 black...

Sporting shoots. Your personal accounts. 2022

It was great to put a face to the name, Donna!  Stand 4 was one of my best stands of the day. I filled it in, but it felt 'right'.  Stand 5 seemed to trip people up, possibly because the sign suggested it was Midi OR Std, when I believe it was actually the other way around.  Overall some good...

Great long weekend for me. Coleys on Friday: 103/120 (quite pleased with that, but considering I blanked two filler targets that score should have been 6-8 higher. First time I've ever felt I should have been up there.). We did suffer from a lot of no birds, and a trap breakdown. A real shame...

Looking forward to shooting the Ian Coley 120 event on Friday, and then Honesberie on Sunday. Anyone shot IC yet?

A trip to Owls on Saturday for me, for the 120 Super Sporting. Not registered yet but I believe this is going to become a recognised discipline?  Really enjoyable shoot, and format. I strained my back earlier in the week so being tight from that and on pain killers wasn't helpful; but I really...

I made the extended journey up to Jet Hall for the selection shoot on Sunday. Scores looked low from Saturday but there was a much higher concentration of C/B/A shooters on Sat rather than Sunday, so it looked like it shot tougher. Actually, HG was the same both days. I really enjoyed the...

    Honesberie Shooting - 2022

I did set the majority of the course, yes.  The rabbit was 40yds away, and rolling down a slope. I think most were missing it behind and above it.  Next shoot is this coming Sunday.

    WESP

Are the worlds a bit like the major FITASC events where the prize money is good, but not great?  It's the standalone 'big blast' shoots that seem to have the best payouts.

Westfield for me, and it was a great shoot. I’ve found a touch of form of late and was very pleased with 85 on that course.    Halfway up the hill, on the corner, there was a decent battue with a green R-L crosser. I hit the first crossed but then didn’t touch another. Very clever. When we...

Coleys for me as well, enjoyed the shoot. More technical than 'gaps' which is something I've been changing methods on of late. Happy with 82, when HG was Myers on 92.  My goal on outings is to be within 10 of HG at the moment. All good practice for San Antonio in a couple weeks....

Grange for me yesterday, good course and I felt I shot it fairly well. Couple testing targets from platforms and one screaming dropping R-L blaze midi.  Finished on 86 which was joint 2nd in A. It's been a while since I've been placed in class so I'll take that.
