Purely out of interest how many clay shooting regulars have not shot live birds of any type, most people i know myself included came into clay shooting to get some trigger time to sharpen up for various types of game/vermin shooting.

Sorry my mistake :( good luck with it. Ackley is an improved version of a standard cartridge size.a 243 ackley for example is correctly named 243 AI (Ackley Improved).It is fine tuning of a calibre.

Thats a lovely set up Darkside hnachaj no disrespect to you but i dont see the purpose of mock assault weapons,they never seem to shoot very well and more importantly can give the wrong impression on legally held guns,in my opinion.

I have a tikka m595 myself in 243 its a lovely thing also got a m590 continental in 222 .

How long did that barrel last? Light heads pushed fast burn tubes in 243 that is the downside to a very handy calibre that so nice to shoot.
